FV Hospital has been built and is managed following stringent guidelines that applied during the conceptual phase, the building construction phase and, now, during our day-to-day operations.

Expatriate Package

These terms and conditions apply for most full-time contracts but can be modified on a case by case basis at the discretion of FV Hospital

Terms of Employment

1. Fixed contract, usually one or two-year duration
2. The first three months of your employment contract shall be probationary, with periodic informal reviews of your performance
3. Working hours: 44 hours per week
4. Annual Leave: four weeks’ paid annual leave during each calendar year of your employment (calculated pro rata to your working period in each calendar year)
5. Sick leave: up to 90 days paid sick leave during each calendar year of your employment (with a doctor's certificate)
6. Maternity leave: 8 weeks’ paid maternity leave

Base Salary and Allowances

1. Salary is in keeping with professional and industry levels
2. Bonus may be paid to you based on your work performance
3. Personal income tax will be paid by FV Hospital
4. Legitimate business expenses are paid by FV Hospital.

 Benefits

1. Accommodation in the FVH Housing Complex is provided on a case-by-case basis
2. Home Leave: FV Hospital pays for one economy class airfare for you and your immediate family to and from your own country during each calendar year
3. Schooling: FV Hospital contributes to school tuition fees
4. Medical Malpractice Insurance: all doctors and nurses are covered by professional liability
5. Personal Accident Insurance: all employees are covered by personal accident insurance
6. Personal Health Insurance: you and your immediate family are covered by "AIG Global Health" insurance for medical expenses worldwide except North America inclusive of medical evacuation
7. Home Insurance: covering personal belongings
8. Visa and work permit are obtained and paid for by FV Hospital.

These terms and conditions apply only for full-time indefinite labour contracts but do not all apply for part-time and services contracts

Base Salary and Allowances

1. Salary is in keeping with professional and industry levels
2. Personal income tax is paid by FV Hospital
3. Social insurance and health insurance are paid by FV Hospital
4. 13th month bonus is payable after the employee has completed 12-month full service with FV Hospital and shall be paid at the end of each lunar year
5. Salary Review is done annually, following completion of 12-month service from start date, by the Head of Department. It is an individual assessment based on skills level, experience and performance over the preceding 12 months.

Terms of Employment

1. Indefinite labour contract are usual
2. Probationary period: 2 to 3 months
3. Working hours: 44 hours per week
4. Annual leave: 15.5 days
5. Marriage leave: 3 days for own marriage, 1 day for child’s marriage
6. Funeral leave: 3 days for death of employee’s parent, parent-in-law, spouse or child.

Insurance Benefits

1. Personal Health Insurance: all employees are covered in Vietnam by the medical insurance “Vietnam Care”
2. Personal Accident Insurance
3. Professional Liability Insurance: all doctors working for FV Hospital are covered by the Medical Malpractice Insurance taken out by FV Hospital

Charity Trips
