The function of the Pharmacy Department, at FV Hospital, is as a support service: we are the link between patients and their doctors. We help patients to understand the importance of medication to their overall treatment plan. We believe that when patients fully understand how their medication works, they will have a positive attitude to correct and regular medication and will work together with our doctors to manage their medical conditions.

The department also has the responsibility of liaising with government bodies to maintain good professional relationships, and, to deal with pharmaceutical and medical companies, distributors and importers for the supply of medicine, and medical supplies for the hospital.
