Equipment
FVH is equipped with the latest radiology and is actually the General Electric Medical Reference Centre for Vietnam. Our inventory of state-of-the-art equipment includes:
- Proteus X-ray units for conventional radiography
- Prestige II Remote-controlled Table

From early 2007, the Imaging Department will be run using the Radiology Information System provided by Global Care Solutions which is the same system used at the Bumrungrad Hospital in Bangkok. And from mid-2007, all FVH doctors will have direct access via their computers to all imaging films using the innovative PACS (Picture Archive Communication System) also provided by Global Care Solutions.
Services
FV Hospital Imaging Department offers a number of sub-specialties in body imaging, such as gastro-intestinal, hepato-biliary, genito-urinary, head and neck, breast, and musculo-skeletal imaging, as well as neuroradiology and interventional radiology.
Specialised radiological examinations may require dietary and bowel preparations. If you need such preparation, you are required to visit the department 3 days prior to the examination for complete medical instructions and medication.
