Our support team comprises of 200 dedicated staff and permanent contractors, who work tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that your expectations are met in each area of your FV Hospital visit.

Technical Services

• The Biomedical Engineering Department maintains and advises on all the hospital's medical equipment, working with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure that all equipment is maintained in optimum condition and at maximum service availability to provide the best possible levels of diagnostic and treatment performance for you.
• The Engineering Departments looks after the operation and maintenance of the many essential systems in our complex building (power, back-up power, water, drainage, air conditioning, medical gas, lighting, fire safety, TV etc), Their job is to make sure that the environment is safe and comfortable for all our patients, visitors and staff, appropriate for the operation of our sophisticated equipment and fully compliant with international safety standards. This department monitors system operations 24-hours per day and provides FVH's Emergency Response Team.
• The Civil Works Department looks after the building structures, layout, décor, signage and furniture; and, externally, roads, out-buildings and landscaping. It also looks after new development projects in the hospital, which are frequent, as we respond to our ever-increasing patient needs and numbers.
• We are proud of our modern hospital and its site - a team of Gardeners works full time to keep the landscaping, grounds and internal plants looking at their best for patients, staff and residents alike.

Food & Beverage Department

Our in-house Food and Beverage Department (F&B) strives to provide you with the right quantities of wholesome, healthy food for your needs, prepared hygienically and presented well. The team supports a number of different service areas and outlets, managing the careful preparation of food and drink for in-patients, day patients, visitors and staff.

Housekeeping

The Housekeeping Department works diligently to keep the essential domestic functions of cleaning, laundry, linen management and waste management running smoothly. Their responsibility is to ensure that the hospital and its associated accommodation areas are kept clean, tidy, and are continually serviced.

• Linen and Laundry - A hospital uses a great deal of linen. A small but dedicated team look after all linen and staff uniform requirements, for both the in-patient and the out-patient areas, ensuring a high quality and, most importantly, hygienic laundry process. They provide a constant supply of clean linen and uniforms for all areas.
• Cleaning and Waste Management - Our out-sourced cleaning partner, Pan Pacific, provides specially trained teams 24-hours per day, 365-days per year. These teams work in all areas of the hospital and are a key part of our international standard infection control policy, working to ensure that all areas of the hospital are kept clean, hygienic and free from waste and rubbish.
• Environmental Standards - FV Hospital complies with International Environmental Standards on Waste Control, Laundry, Environmental testing and Pest Control.

Security

Your safety and security while at FV Hospital are of paramount concern to us. We, therefore, have a permanent team of security guards in place who will help you to follow our traffic, security and safety policies and to guide and assist you in case of an emergency or a security incident. Of course, they also work to protect you and the hospital against crime or potential damage.

Transport

Our team of drivers makes sure that the FVH shuttle bus runs safely and on time, for your convenience, between our City Centre bus stop (Le Thanh Ton office) and the Hospital. The drivers are also key to ensuring that external tests, results and correspondence are delivered and collected quickly and efficiently to support our operation.
