In keeping with our goal of providing international quality healthcare, FV Hospital is staffed by a team of European-trained medical professionals. There are over 15 full-time French and Belgian doctors and surgeons, and, over 50 overseas-trained Vietnamese specialists, each with 10 – 15 years experience working in key positions in local and international hospitals. Together, they provide expertise in 26 medical and surgical specialities. All of our surgeons are highly skilled in the latest surgical and anaesthetic techniques, ensuring that your treatment is as efficient and effective as possible.
Through the FVH Partners Programme, we open the hospital facilities to a number of leading Vietnamese specialists for diagnostic analysis and treatment of their own patients and of FVH patients.
FVH has also more than 450 doctors from France/Belgium/Switzerland who are shareholders, many of which come regularly to the hospital to provide consultations and treatments – especially in selected areas of expertise: specialists in knee, shoulder, paediatric surgery, middle ear etc. At other times, these “hyper-specialists” consult with our full-time staff via high-speed internet access, conferring on particularly difficult medical and surgical cases. Radiology images and lab tests can be transmitted on-line and discussed real-time with these international specialists, as well as our partner laboratories in France. All of which results in the expertise of over 500 doctors and surgeons being at the disposal of our patients, year-round.
Partnership Agreements
For cases requiring cardiac surgery and for more complicated cases which we cannot perform at present, FVH has a partnership agreement with the National Heart Centre of Singapore (NHC). A partnership agreement also exists with the Singapore National Eye Centre (SNEC) for ophthalmologic procedures requiring specialist attention.
Investigations
Professional agreements are active with world-renowned diagnostic laboratory facilities in France and with the international pathology laboratory based in Bangkok, Thailand.
Nursing Care
Nursing and post-operative care are a vital part of the recovery process after surgery. The Nursing Department at FVH takes pride in its on-going commitment to provide the highest international standards of healthcare.
The Director of Nursing at FVH is a French national, trained in France; in fact, over half of the Head Nurses at the facility are French.
Training for the nursing staff was provided, initially, by a recognised international hospital group – a UK-based hospital management company, International Hospitals Group. On-going training is supervised by French, professional nursing trainers.

Efficiency Through Technology
FV Hospital is equipped throughout with the latest medical technology. By utilising state-of-the-art equipment and advanced surgical techniques, we are able to optimise the cost-efficiency of your treatment. In combination with the skill of our surgical teams, these technologies allow us to perform a growing number of minimally invasive surgeries, such as laparoscopic procedures for digestive, gynaecological and urological diseases, and, video-assisted endoscopic procedures in gastro-enterology, arthroscopy and hand surgery. Surgical interventions that once required a week’s recovery time can now be performed on a day surgery basis, eliminating the costs associated with lengthy hospital stays and non-working convalescence
