Our sole focus at FV Hospital is patient-centric care: superior quality medical care with all the comforts of 5-star hotel services. We put you first. On a daily basis, our standards and practices are of the highest international level. You may read about them in our Patient Charter. During your stay, a team will be on hand to take care of your all medical and personal needs; the Guest Relations Officer will visit you, at least twice during your time with us, to check on your comfort and discuss anything more that we might do for you. In accordance with our transparent invoicing process, all charges will be explained to you prior to commencement of any procedures or medication.
The full hotel services include a choice of rooms to satisfy everyone’s needs; excellent cuisine served in the ward rooms (included in the charges), cable television in rooms, an internet café, free ADSL internet facilities in the rooms and spa services. Should any problem arise, you are invited to contact the Guest Relations Officer to address the issue. Finally, to help us improve our service, patients are encouraged to provide comments to us, in the strictest confidence, either in writing or on the official Patient Satisfaction Survey form.

Your Room at FVH
FV Hospital is fully equipped to care for all your medical treatment and monitoring needs. All of our ward rooms are clean and spacious. The room facilities include cable television, direct dial telephones, free ADSL internet access, individual control air-conditioning, nurse call systems and en suite bathrooms. For your added convenience, we offer semi-private, private, VIP rooms and suites. The room charges are inclusive of 24-hour nursing care, specified disposables – such as IVs, catheters, syringes and bandages, service charges for in-room amenities, and, three hot meals per day served at your bedside by our in-house catering staff.
Special Care Rooms
Essentially, there are two categories of special care rooms: those for children and those for adults.
Children’s Special Care Rooms:

N.I.C.U. (Natal Intensive Care Unit) incubated care for babies born prematurely or if they are in need of specialised care. Our NICU provides the latest technology in newborn ventilation and monitoring, and, it is equipped with state-of-the-art incubators and transport units. One nurse cares for each infant.

UNSC (Neonatal High Surveillance Unit) for babies requiring special care with monitoring and/or surveillance. And to improve the feeding of post-premature babies utilising the Kangaroo Method, one of the modern care techniques used to bring mothers closer to their newborn, as well as providing a more comfortable atmosphere. One nurse supervises three cots.
Adult Special Care Rooms:
- I.C.U. (Intensive Care Unit) for those in need of special care and observation, we have a state-of-the-art Intensive Care Unit, equipped with the most advanced monitoring and resuscitation equipment available. All of our ICU rooms are designed to accommodate one patient only to ensure optimal infection control. The ICU as a whole is organised for the greatest possible patient security, a central nursing station allows for personalised observation of each patient. Each room is equipped with its own Marquette monitors, Draeger ventilators and Fresenius infusion pumps. Our highly skilled ICU nursing team keep close observation of the rooms (1 nurse per 2 patients) 24-hours a day. Anaesthesiologists are also on duty 24-hours a day to provide for our ICU patients’ care.
A specified number of days in ICU are included in some surgical packages. However, ICU procedures for medical cases are not charged as packages but are billed per day. The basic daily cost includes doctor fees, 24-hour nursing care, one chest x-ray, one set of regular biological studies, monitoring, oxygen therapy, basic IV fluids, dressings and other one-time use disposable medical items.
VIP Room Extra Services
In addition to the items listed in the introduction, the VIP patient will enjoy a daily (seasonal) fruit plate, free tea and coffee facilities in each room, a private lounge area, a bedside mini bar, three meals per day for one guest (Vietnamese and Western menus), a specialized adjustable electric bed, a spacious private bathroom and hot shower, a balcony, free toiletry items (shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, shower gel, hairdryer, slippers etc), no extra fee for visitor staying over night, extended visiting hours and a late check-out time of 14:00 hours (subject to availability, normal check-out time is 11:00 hours).
Suite Service
The VIP room and an adjacent single room can be booked together. The single room can be equipped as an office (desk, chair, arm chair etc) where the VIP, a relative or a personal staff member can work and receive guests. This single room can also be used as a guest room, where an overnight visitor can sleep. All VIP services, including meals, are extended to the guest staying in the additional room.
