At FV Hospital, we are concerned with the total well being of our patients and staff, and, that includes what they eat and drink. We aim to provide, 365 days a year, a balanced range of appetizing and nutritious food and drink, enabling patients and staff to have a choice that reflects their needs.

Guest Relations Officer

During your stay, a Guest Relations officer will visit you – at least twice – to determine first-hand your status, your comfort and, if any, your concerns. In such instances, in consultation with the attending physician and nursing staff, the best course of action will be determined and acted upon.

Your comments are welcome, too. Please direct your suggestions – or, any complaints you might have – to the Guest Relations officer.

Personal Computer and Internet Access

Whether for business or pleasure, it is easy for patients to stay in touch using our free ASDL high-speed Internet access points. If you have your own laptop, you can connect from the comfort of your own room. Simply ask your nurse and our IT department will quickly connect you.

Free Wi-Fi connection is available outside the Cafeteria, on the first floor, and, opposite the Coffee shop on the ground floor. Patients and guests without a laptop can connect at the Internet Café on the first floor. Access cards are available at the Gift Shop, Coffee Shop or, at the Main Cashier and A&E Cashier.

Postal Service

FV Hospital also provides a postal service for patients who wish to stay connected the old fashioned way. If you would like to send a letter, please hand it to the ward secretary, Monday to Friday.

Spa Services

Many of our patients wish to be able to stay looking and feeling their best, while in hospital. In conjunction with Jasmine Spa, our salon partner, we have developed a range of beauty, relaxation and wellness treatments suitable for hospitalized patients. These include manicure, pedicure, hand and foot massage, hair styling, facials and other beauty treatments.

These services are available, on request, in your bedroom and can be booked through the FVH Gift Shop. (Please note: some treatments may be subject to medical approval.) Gift vouchers for these services – which can be redeemed at FVH or at Jasmine Spa – are available at the Gift Shop.

Outdoor Facilities

Fresh air and sunshine are essential ingredients to a full recovery, and patients and their visitors can enjoy both, on our pleasantly landscaped terrace on the 3rd floor. Outdoor seating is also available on the ground floor at the Hospital’s main entrance. If you or your visitors would like to smoke, we ask that you please leave the hospital building to do so.
