Dr Yann Dréan Takes The Position Of Head Of Obstetrics And Gynaecology At FV Hospital

On August 15, 2018, Dr Yann Dréan officially joined FV’s team as Head of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Before moving to Vietnam, Dr Dréan worked at hospitals in France, including Amiens-Picardie and Hospital Center of the Basque Coast. He has spent many years as a senior consultant in the field of Obstetrics and Gynaecology with specialist experience in handling high-risk pregnancies.

On August 15, 2018, Dr Yann Dréan officially joined FV’s team as Head of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Before moving to Vietnam, Dr Dréan worked at hospitals in France, including Amiens-Picardie and Hospital Center of the Basque Coast. He has spent many years as a senior consultant in the field of Obstetrics and Gynaecology with specialist experience in handling high-risk pregnancies.

As departmental leader, Dr. Dréan will work closely with FV’s obstetric and gynaecology physicians to develop more new services and ensure the department stays up to date on the latest treatment methods, helping to shore up FV’s Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department’s reputation as one of the best in the region.

Dr Dréan graduated from the University of Medicine, Amiens University, Amiens, France, in 2004, obtaining a Master’s Degree in Technology & Health from the University of Technology, Compiègne, in 2011 and receiving his PhD in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Picardie University, Amiens, France, in 2009.

With 15 years of professional Obstetrics and Gynaecology experience, Dr. Dréan looks forward to providing dedicated, attentive care at FV Hospital, and ensuring his patients feel comfortable discussing obstetrics and gynaecology issues with him and the rest of the team.

Dr Dréan’s core competancies include specialist gynaecological surgery, colposcopy, breast Cancer and high-risk pregnancy care.
