To help you and your family prepare with confidence for your baby’s arrival, the FV Thomson Maternity Department is hosting July’s “Afternoon Tea with the Doctor” programme. This month’s topic is “Understanding pain relief during labour and preventing postnatal uterine prolapse”.

Programme highlights

• Understanding pain relief during labour: Dr Le Thi Bich Tram, MSc, will explain how modern pain relief options work, when they may be used, and the key considerations to help you enjoy a more comfortable and reassuring birth experience.

• Preventing uterine prolapse after childbirth: Dr Nguyen Duc Truong will explain the risk factors, early warning signs, and practical advice on postnatal care, pelvic floor exercises, and recovery to help reduce the risk of this condition.

By attending Afternoon Tea with the Doctor, you and your family will also have the opportunity to:
