Local Authority Representative Visit FV Hospital and FV Saigon Clinic on Vietnamese Doctors’ Day

As an annual practice, the Representative of the People’s Committee of District 7, Ho Chi Minh City, visited and congratulated the medical staff working at FV Hospital, on the occasion of Vietnamese Doctors’ Day (27th February). At the same time, leaders of authority in Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, also went to congratulate the doctors and medical staff working at FV Saigon Clinic.

On the afternoon of 23rd February, Vice Chairman of the District 7 People’s Committee, Ms Nguyen Thi Be Ngoan, along with doctors and pharmacists at the District 7 Health Department, represented the District 7 People’s Committee to visit FV Hospital, on the occasion of Vietnamese Doctors’ Day. The representative from the local government expressed great thanks and best wishes to all the doctors and medical staff at FV. They wished all the doctors good health and much success on the upcoming journeys.

Ms Nguyen Thi Be Ngoan said: “For many years, especially during the pandemic the companionship of FV Hospital, has brought good impressions in the hearts of the people, as well as the District 7 leaders. I hope, in the future, FV will continue to support District 7 to develop health care models based on family medicine principles for the local community.” In some wards of District 7, we are currently piloting health stations operating on the principles of family medicine. District 7 leaders hope that FV will help the local authority implement this model smoothly, through the experience and expertise that the hospital has.

On behalf of FV Hospital, especially the doctor team, Medical Director, PhD.Dr.Do Trong Khanh shared his gratitude to the local authority leaders. Dr Khanh also thanked the leaders for their care for FV Hospital. “FV has its development directions, but it always strives to share the goals and programmes regarding healthcare with District 7, District 1 and the City, in general, with the desire to contribute to improving the quality of healthcare in Ho Chi Minh City.”

On the morning of 24th February, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Ben Nghe Ward (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City), Mr Le Minh Phat, and representatives of the local government visited and congratulated the doctors working at FV Saigon Clinic – FVC (Bitexco Building, District 1). The delegation highly appreciated the dedication of the medical staff from FVC during the COVID-19 pandemic. Thanking the contribution FVC, as it had helped the people and authorities of District 1, as well as Ben Nghe Ward, step by step to stand solid against COVID-19. Mr Phat hopes that in near future there will be more collaboration programmes between the local authorities and FV Saigon Clinic.

For FV, this is a meaningful practice of the government bodies for hospitals. It shows the attention of the local government to the doctors and medical staff at FV Hospital, as well as emphasises the importance of the medical industry for the development of the City. FV hopes these activities will also be an encouragement for the doctors and medical staff to continue their efforts in the mission of saving patients.
