Speech & Language Therapista


General Job Description:

The Speech & Language therapist is responsible in developing, organizing and providing speech & language therapy within hospital range for inpatients and outpatient. Through professional empathy, contemporary attitude and efficient partnership, the Speech and language therapist:

  • Identify hospital needs towards disable people,
  • Organize and develop network care process with all health caregivers,
  • Develop supportive and safe environment including protocols,
  • Develop range of Speech & Language services
  • Degree in Speech & Language therapy (minimum 3 years study).
  • A post graduate degree is highly recommended.
  • Strong experience is required in Speech & Language therapy (minimum of 7 years’ experience).
  • Experience in management or development projects is highly recommended
Skills and knowledge:
  • Good communication skills, included oral, written as interpersonal skills
  • Good computer skills, word, excel, power point
  • Shows empathy and contemporary attitude towards people with disabilities and cultural diversity,
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment;
  • Ability to work in interdisciplinary and multicultural environment,
  • Ability to write protocols, guidelines in English
  • Open minded, creative thinker, active learner, flexible , responsive and curious,
  • Well-developed problem solving ability,
  • Ability to prioritize, organize and achieve effectively multiple tasks
  • Shows clinical evidence based practice for Speech & Language therapy
  • Shows strong knowledge background on adult as children rehabilitation included anatomy, physiology,
  • pathology, supportive techniques or equipment
  • Ability to perform speech & language therapy for acute, sub-acute or chronic patient’s condition
