Dr Thanh Tam graduated from the University of Medicine, Ho Chi Minh City in 2004, Resident Doctor in 2007, Specialization Level I, Obstetrics in 2008 and Master in Medicine of Ho Chi Minh University of Medicine in 2012. In addition, Dr Thanh Tam also participated in many advanced training courses which include; Ultrasound in Obstetrics & Gynaecology (2008), Basic Pelvic Floor Pathology (2016), Advanced Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (2016), Colposcopy (2018), and Placement and Removal of Subcutaneous Pharmacological Implanon NXT (2019). Dr Thanh Tam has also lectured in Tu Du Hospital in subjects concerning Gynaecology Disease Endoscopy and Women Pelvic Floor.

With her highly specialized experience, Dr Thanh Tam has worked in her field of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in many of HCMC’s leading hospitals. These include; Tu Du Hospital, Hung Vuong Hospital, Gia Dinh People Hospital, and Mekong Hospital. She has long been praised as a doctor with a warm heart, thoughtful care, and one who always listens to patients to find the best solution for treatment.

Dr Thanh Tam has extensive experience in maternity, helping in the successful delivery of a countless number of babies. She also has fantastic surgical skills in areas such as; Gynaecological Tumour Surgery, Endoscopy, Pelvic Floor Pathology, Urinary Incontinence, and Prolapse. Her aim is to help patients recover fully and safely, as well as ensure the importance of aesthetics and bring confidence to women.

From 2020, Dr Nguyen Thi Thanh Tam joined FV Hospital to work in the hospital’s Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department. We wish Dr Thanh Tam all the best at FV and know, that with her skills in bringing effective, safe and caring treatment, she will support FV’s Obstetrics and Gynaecology in its continued development.
