FV offers 20% discount on breast and cervical cancer screening to celebrate International Women’s Day 8/3

From March 1st to March 31st, 2022, FV Hospital is offering a special discount programme with 20% Breast and Cervical Cancer Screenings to mark International Women's Day on March 8th

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the instance of breast and cervical cancer is increasing, especially in developing countries. However, with the development of modern medicine and technologies, both these diseases can be completely controlled if detected and treated at an early stage.

To encourage women to take care of their health and screen for cancer-related diseases, from March 1st to March 31st, 2022, FV Hospital is offering a special discount programme with 20% Breast and Cervical Cancer Screenings to mark International Women’s Day on March 8th. Through this programme, FV hopes to help more women stay healthier by benefitting from examination at an international-standard hospital for an economical price.

1. Breast Cancer Screening: – Special price: 1,432,000 VND

  • Breast cancer is the second most commonly diagnosed cancer in women and a leading cause of cancer death.
  • Women should have a clinical breast exam by a doctor every 1 to 3 years for women between 25 to 39-year old as part of their regular health exam and annually for women age 40 and older.
  • Yearly mammograms are recommended starting at age 40 and continuing for as long as a woman is in good health

The screening programme includes:

  • Mammography
  • Consultation with a gynaecologist

(*) Notice:

  • There is no need to fasting or follow any particular diet prior to your visit. The best time to perform a mommography for non meopausal patient is from the last day of your menstruation until two weeks after the first day of your menstruation.
  • You will receive your results at the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department.
  • Other exams and additional tests are not included in this programme.

2. Cervical Cancer Screening:

Cervical cancer usually develops insidiously over a period of time (a few years) and is most commonly seen in women 40 years of age and older. Most deaths from cervical cancer (cancer of the lower part of the uterus or uterus) could be prevented if women were screened regularly with a Pap test and/or an HPV DNA test.

Cervical Cancer Screening (From 21 to 29 years of age): – Special price: 1,128,000 VND 

The screening programme includes:

  • Consultation with a gynaecologist
  • Pap Smear test Top of Form
  • Bottom of Form

Cervical Cancer Screening (From 30 to 65 years of age): – Special price: 2,432,000 VND

The screening programme includes:

  • Consultation with a gynaecologist
  • High-risk HPV testing (hrHPV)

(*) Notice:

  • A Pap Smear should be performed two weeks after your last menstrual period ends.
  • Please refrain from intercourse 48 hours prior to the exam
  • The patient should not use vaginal medication, vaginal contraceptives, personal lubricants or douches during the 48 hours before the exam.
  • Other exams and additional tests are not included in this programme.
