Dr Alain Delbos – Former Chairman of European Regional Anaesthesia Society
With over 30 years of experience in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care, Dr Alain Delbos is a leading figure in modern regional anaesthesia. He is currently the Head of Anaesthesia at Clinique Médipôle Garonne in France. As a former President of ESRA, he is globally respected as a top expert in nerve blocks and using ultrasound for anaesthesia. His research has played a vital role in improving pain control after surgery and enhancing patient care throughout the entire surgical process.
Dr Denis Dupoiron – Head of Pain Department of Institut de Cancérologie de L’Ouest
With over 40 years of experience, Dr Denis Dupoiron is a senior expert at some of France’s most famous cancer institutes. He is globally recognised as a master in treating cancer pain, especially for his outstanding skill in performing over 1,000 intrathecal drug delivery procedures (delivering medicine directly to the spinal cord). Beyond his clinical work, he has played a huge part in creating international safety guidelines (PACC) for these treatments. His work helps provide safe and effective pain relief for patients living with chronic pain and cancer.
Dr Christophe Perruchoud – President of the Swiss Neuromodulation Society
Dr Christophe Perruchoud is the Head of the Pain Department at La Tour Hospital, with over 25 years of experience in Anaesthesia and Pain Management. He is highly regarded as both a talented clinician and a respected scholar. He has authored several books on how medicines work in spinal anaesthesia and modern, minimally invasive pain relief techniques. By combining sharp scientific thinking with precise medical skills, he has successfully treated many complex chronic pain cases, helping his patients live much better, more comfortable lives.
Dr Vu Truong Son, MSc – Medical Director, FV Hospital (Organising Committee Representative)
Dr Vu Truong Son graduated from Hai Phong University of Medicine and Pharmacy and holds a Master’s degree in Tropical Diseases and International Health (IFMT). With over 10 years at FV Hospital, he is an expert in managing infectious diseases, infection control, and hospital medical operations.
Dr Louis Brasseur, Head of Pain Clinic, FV Hospital (since 2017)
With over 45 years of clinical experience, Dr Louis Brasseur has previously served as Director of major pain centres in Paris, France. He is a leading expert in managing chronic pain, cancer pain, and advanced pain relief procedures. Trained in both France and the UK, Dr Brasseur brings a wealth of international experience to his work. He is also a pioneer in palliative care, focusing on helping patients live better and more comfortable lives.
Dr Nguyen Nam Binh, Specialist Level I – Senior Consultant, Pain Clinic, FV Hospital (since 2020)
With a strong background in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care and over 13 years at Tu Du Hospital, Dr Binh is an expert in treating chronic pain, cancer pain, and palliative care. She holds advanced certifications in ultrasound-guided pain relief techniques and the safe use of pain medication (opioids) from leading medical institutions in Vietnam and abroad.
Dr Pham Hoang Manh, Specialist Level I – Senior Consultant, Pain Clinic, FV Hospital (since 2022)
Having worked in the Anaesthesia Department at Cho Ray Hospital since 2016, Dr Manh has extensive experience in treating joint, spinal, nerve, and cancer pain. He has completed advanced training in regional anaesthesia and chronic pain management in France and Switzerland. Dr Manh is highly skilled at using medical imaging and ultrasound to make pain relief procedures as effective as possible for his patients.
