Prof Dr Duong Quy Sy – President of the Vietnam Society of Sleep Medicine; Vice President of the Vietnam Respiratory Society
Prof Duong Quy Sy is a leading expert in respiratory medicine and sleep medicine, recognised as an international medical talent and honoured as a doctor for the health of the people. He trained and worked at leading hospitals in France, including Haut-Lévêque Hospital (Bordeaux) and Cochin Hospital (Paris). He currently serves as a Pulmonologist at Cochin Hospital, Lecturer at Paris Descartes University, and Head of the Department of Sleep Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh City.
After successfully defending his Doctor of Science thesis at Paris-Est University, Prof Sy declined multiple international offers to return to Vietnam. He now serves as Rector of Lam Dong Medical College, President of the Vietnam Society of Sleep Medicine, and Vice President of the Vietnam Respiratory Society.
Prof Sy has been recognised by the International Biographical Centre, Cambridge, UK as one of the Top 100 Health Professionals of the World and listed in Marquis Who’s Who (USA) among the 1,000 People Who Made Contributions to Science and Technology Worldwide. He is also the Ambassador in Vietnam for the European Respiratory Society (ERS), an Honorary Member of the American Thoracic Society, and Editor-in-Chief of the American Journal of Vascular Disease.
With more than 220 national and international research publications, Prof Sy is not only a respected scientist but also a pioneer in the training and development of sleep medicine in Vietnam.

Dr Ho Minh Tuan – Head of Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology, FV Hospital, is a specialist in cardiology and interventional cardiology, with expertise in advanced procedures including percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), peripheral vascular interventions, percutaneous valvuloplasty, treatment of congenital heart defects, and advanced cardiac imaging techniques.
He graduated as a Medical Doctor from Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy in 1999, earned his master’s degree in Internal Medicine from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh City in 2014, and obtained his PhD in Cardiology from the 108 Institute of Clinical Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Hanoi, in 2023. Dr Tuan has undergone extensive training in echocardiography, cardiac imaging, internal cardiology, and interventional cardiology at leading medical centres in Vietnam and abroad, including the Ho Chi Minh City Heart Institute, Cho Ray Hospital, Institute Jantung Negara (Malaysia), and Saiseikai Yokohama Hospital (Japan).
With over 20 years of experience, he has held senior positions at major hospitals such as the Ho Chi Minh City Heart Institute and Tam Duc Heart Hospital before becoming Head of Cardiology at FV Hospital in 2021. Fluent in both Vietnamese and English, Dr Tuan is highly regarded by colleagues and patients for his expertise and dedication to patient care.

Dr Vo Cong Minh – Head of Ear, Nose & Throat Department, FV Hospital, is a leading expert in endoscopic sinus surgery, endoscopic skull base surgery, ear surgery, and the treatment of snoring and obstructive sleep apnoea.
He graduated as a Medical Doctor from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh City in 2002, completed his Specialty Level I in 2007, master’s degree in Medicine in 2010, and PhD in Otorhinolaryngology in 2021, all at the same university.
Dr Minh has trained at prestigious institutions worldwide, including the University of Tennessee, Memphis (USA); Saint Luke’s Medical Center (Philippines); University of Texas, San Antonio (USA); and the Neurological Science Hospital, Chapel Hill, North Carolina (USA).
With over 23 years of clinical experience, including senior doctor positions at the University Medical Center Ho Chi Minh City, Dr Minh has been Head of ENT at FV Hospital since 2021. He is known for his solid expertise, meticulous approach, and compassionate patient care.

Dr Nguyen Huu Man – Endocrinology, Internal Medicine Department, FV Hospital, specialises in diabetes and thyroid disorders.
He graduated as a Medical Doctor from Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy in 1991 and completed his specialisation in Endocrinology at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh City from 2001 to 2003.
With decades of clinical experience, Dr Man has served in senior positions including at the Haemodialysis Unit, Cho Ray Hospital (1993–1996), and as a senior doctor in endocrinology at the Ho Chi Minh City Nutrition Center (2004). He has been with FV Hospital since 2004, serving as a senior endocrinologist.

Dr Le Anh Tuan – Urology & Andrology, FV Hospital, specialises in male infertility, sexual dysfunction, sexually transmitted diseases, and urinary tract diseases such as urinary stones.
He graduated as a Medical Doctor from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh City in 1995 and earned his master’s degree in Urology there in 2006.
With over 20 years of experience, Dr Tuan has trained internationally in procedures such as laser prostate vaporisation, laparoscopic surgery, microsurgery, and advanced andrological surgery at centres including Ganga Hospital (India) and Muljibhai Patel Hospital (India).
He has held senior positions at major institutions such as Trung Vuong Hospital, Medic Medical Center, Binh Dan Hospital, City International Hospital, Victoria Healthcare Clinic, and Viet My Clinic before joining FV Hospital in 2017.

Dr Nguyen Viet Quynh Thu – Head of Nutrition & Dietetics Department, FV Hospital; Vice President of the Vietnam Dietetic Association (2019 – 2024)
Dr Nguyen Viet Quynh Thu graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine in General Medicine from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Ho Chi Minh City in 1999. She then received a Specialist Level 1 degree in Internal Medicine in 2007 and a Specialist Level 2 degree, also in Internal Medicine, in 2011 from Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy. Concurrently, she earned a Master’s degree in Nutrition from Japan Women’s University in 2008 and a Master’s in Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism from Europe in 2019. Dr Quynh Thu has also participated in numerous specialized training courses both domestically and internationally, such as Total Parenteral Nutrition in Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Indonesia; Clinical Nutrition and Nutrition Support Teams in Japan; and the LLL ESPEN program organized in Denmark, Poland, Spain, the Philippines, and Vietnam.
Dr Quynh Thu has over 20 years of experience in clinical nutrition in internal medicine treatment. Notably, she was the Head of the Nutrition Department at Nguyen Tri Phuong Hospital and has over 15 years of experience managing nutrition departments. Additionally, Dr Quynh Thu has participated in examining and treating patients in several important specialties such as Gastrointestinal Internal Medicine (2000 – 2005), Nephrology Internal Medicine (2005 – 2006), and Endocrinology Internal Medicine (2006 – 2015) at Nguyen Tri Phuong Hospital. Dr Quynh Thu officially joined FV Hospital in February 2016 as a Senior Treating Doctor in the Clinical Nutrition Department. She then served as Head of the Nutrition & Dietetics Unit at FV Hospital from 2017 to 2021, and since May 2021, Dr Nguyen Viet Quynh Thu has officially been appointed Head of the Nutrition and Dietetics Department at FV Hospital. Dr Quynh Thu also holds the position of Vice President of the Vietnam Dietetics Association (VDA) (2019 – 2024).
In addition to her professional work in the department, Dr Quynh Thu regularly organizes and teaches clinical nutrition training classes for medical staff, participates in establishing forms and nutrition treatment protocols within the hospital. She also actively communicates and educates the public about nutrition through patient clubs and communities, participates in television programs for nutrition counseling, and writes articles on nutrition topics, etc.

Dr Nguyen Duc Trung – Department of Otorhinolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, University Hospital of Nancy, France, is a leading expert in Otorhinolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, as well as in sleep-related disorders. He currently works at the Department of ENT – Head and Neck Surgery, University Hospital of Nancy, France.
He earned his medical degree in ENT – Head and Neck Surgery from the University of Nancy and a PhD in Medical Philosophy from the University of Lorraine. He also holds multiple advanced specialty certificates in Head and Neck Surgery, Oncology, Facial Reconstruction, and Sleep Medicine.
Throughout his career, Dr Trung has served as a resident, assistant professor, and specialised surgeon at leading French hospitals. He has authored numerous research articles published in high-impact international journals and has received prestigious awards, including the European Rhinologic Society Research Award.
