Future vision: High-tech serving the hands and minds of physicians

In his opening remarks, Dr Jean-Marcel Guillon, CEO, shared FV’s upcoming milestones, including significant investments in cutting-edge medical technology such as robotic surgery systems and other advanced equipment.

He emphasized that technology does not replace doctors; it is a tool to elevate their expertise. Even the most modern systems only provide true value when operated by a well-trained, elite medical team that constantly updates its knowledge.

According to Dr Guillon, FV’s direction is to build an environment where modern technology, international safety standards, and high professional competence harmonize to deliver optimal treatment outcomes and an enhanced care experience for patients.

Knowledge: The sustainable foundation of quality care

Representing the medical staff, Dr Vu Truong Son, MSc, Medical Director, delivered a meaningful message through a symbolic gift for the doctors: a reading lamp. He shared that the light from the lamp does not only illuminate pages but also symbolizes the spirit of lifelong learning in the medical profession. In an era of continuous medical innovation, updating knowledge and honing professional skills are how doctors improve treatment quality daily and maintain sustainable care standards for patients.

For the younger generation, practicing medicine is a journey of continuous learning. Working alongside experienced colleagues within a system that prioritizes patient safety is a powerful motivation for young doctors to pursue their long-term career paths.

Vietnamese Doctors’ Day 2026 at FV Hospital was not only a day to honour the profession, but also an affirmation of a future vision – where the light of knowledge and the power of technology together illuminate the path of healing.
