Tan My Ward Authorities Visit FV Hospital to Mark Vietnamese Doctors’ Day 2026

On the morning of 26 February 2026, representatives of the Party Committee and People’s Committee of Tan My Ward visited FV Hospital to extend their congratulations to the hospital’s doctors and healthcare professionals on the 71st anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors’ Day.

In the spirit of early spring, Mr Nguyen Dung Hung, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Tan My Ward Party Committee, together with local officials, expressed his appreciation for the hospital’s medical team and conveyed his best wishes on this important occasion.

“This year’s Doctors’ Day feels especially meaningful as it falls close to the Lunar New Year,” he said. “I hope all doctors, nurses and staff enjoy a celebration that is both joyful and well deserved. More importantly, I trust that you will continue your excellent work and uphold the proud reputation of Vietnamese physicians.”

Mr Nguyen Dung Hung expressed his confidence that FV’s medical team will continue to excel in their mission of delivering high-quality healthcare.

On behalf of the Board of Directors, Ms Pham Thi Thanh Mai, Chief Operating Officer of FV Hospital, thanked the local authorities for their continued support. “FV was among the earliest foreign-invested healthcare institutions established in this area. Since 2003, we have worked closely with the local community, consistently placing community healthcare at the centre of what we do,” she said.

Ms Thanh Mai affirmed that despite changes in administrative boundaries, FV Hospital remains firmly committed to its social responsibilities. As expectations for treatment quality and service standards in Vietnam continue to rise, the hospital has steadily invested in strengthening clinical expertise, upgrading facilities and enhancing patient care throughout its 23 years in operation. This sustained commitment has enabled FV to uphold its position as an international-standard healthcare provider, with a strong reputation across Southeast Asia.

In addition to serving Vietnamese patients, the Tan My Ward authorities, formerly under District 7, acknowledged the important role of FV Hospital in providing medical services to expatriates living and working in Vietnam. Through sustained dedication and professional standards, the hospital has helped ensure that the international community can live and invest in Vietnam with confidence, while contributing to the regional standing of Vietnam’s healthcare services.

Concluding the visit, representatives of Tan My Ward reaffirmed their continued support for the development of FV Hospital. This partnership will further enhance healthcare services for residents, building upon the longstanding and effective collaboration between FV Hospital, Tan My Ward authorities and Ho Chi Minh City.

Established in Tan My Ward, formerly District 7, in 2003, FV Hospital was the first wholly foreign-invested medical facility in the area. Over more than two decades, it has grown alongside the community it serves. Today, the hospital employs more than 1,300 staff members and 250 experienced doctors.

With a patient-centred approach, FV Hospital continues to strengthen its clinical standards in line with rising expectations. The hospital has earned four consecutive terms of international accreditation from Joint Commission International (JCI), underscoring its sustained commitment to patient safety and high-quality care.

Alongside services for expatriate professionals, FV Hospital remains attentive to the needs of local residents. Through insurance partnerships, flexible pricing policies and installment payment options, the hospital seeks to make international-standard healthcare more accessible to the wider community.
