FV Hospital opened in March 2003 and provides its services both in District 7 at FV Hospital and, since 2013, in District 1, at FV Saigon Clinic. The organisation has the capacity of offering outpatient care to up to 1,750 patients a day, and the facilities to provide tertiary care for 220 inpatients.
With over 950 service staff, including 130 doctors, FV Hospital provides care in over 30 medical specialties. The institution benefits from its own Accident & Emergency Department, Cancer Care Centre, Health Check-up Centre, Maternity Ward, Adult, Paediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care Units, Paediatrics Centre, Medical Centre, Surgical Centre, Imaging Department equipped with MRI, Laboratory, Central Pharmacy, Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy Department and Operating Theatre.

FV Hospital is a private hospital, 100% foreign-owned by a Hong-Kong parent company, the ownership of which is composed of the holding company of the 10 Founders (who conceived and developed the hospital project), including Dr Jean-Marcel Guillon, CEO, Legal Representative and Board member, and of another holding company based in Luxembourg regrouping almost 500 shareholders, essentially doctors, from France, Belgium and Switzerland
