High-risk pregnancies are becoming increasingly complex, requiring obstetricians and multidisciplinary specialists to adopt a comprehensive, up to date, and closely coordinated approach. Conditions such as gestational hypertension, fetal growth disorders, and congenital heart defects requiring immediate postnatal intervention affect maternal outcomes but also pose significant challenges for specialists across obstetrics, cardiology, anaesthesiology, and neonatology.
How can potential risks be detected early? When should interventions be initiated? What are the safest ways to approach intervention? These critical questions will be explored through a series of expert-led sessions at the CME accredited scientific conference, “New Challenges in Management of High-risk Pregnancy,” taking place from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM on 17 May 2025 at Hilton Saigon Hotel, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.
The programme will deliver the latest updates from cutting-edge research while also providing a valuable platform for interdisciplinary knowledge exchange, enabling participants to collaboratively explore solutions for complex clinical cases.
The programme will be led by Vo Trieu Dat, MD, MSc, Head of Obstetrics & Gynaecology – Breast Care Clinic at FV Hospital, and will feature presentations from leading experts in obstetrics and gynaecology from both Vietnam and abroad, including:
- Bui Chi Thuong, MD, PhD – Head of Obstetrics, Nhan Dan Gia Dinh Hospital
- Tran Nhat Thang, MD, PhD – Head of Obstetrics, University of Medicine and Pharmacy HCMC

- Vo Trieu Dat, MD, MSc, Head of Obstetrics & Gynaecology – Breast Care Clinic, FV Hospital
- Sharon Foo Angi, MBBS, MRCOG, Maternal Fetal Medicine Consultant, Thomson Specialist (Paragon Medical Centre)
The conference is open to FV Hospital doctors and physicians practising in Ho Chi Minh City. It offers a valuable opportunity for attendees to deepen their specialised knowledge, expand their professional networks, and gain direct insights to the latest trends in high-risk pregnancy management from leading national and international experts.
We cordially invite you to register for the conference HERE to update your knowledge and share experiences in the field of cardiology.
