Disc syndrome

The discs in the neck and lower back can bulge or rupture over time, pinching the nerve near it. In these cases, there will be pain in the neck and lower back areas. Pain, numbness, or weakness may also radiate into the shoulder, arm, or hand if the herniated disc happens in the neck, or hips, legs, and feet if the herniation happens in the lower back area. Majority of people who have herniated discs may not need surgery. Recovery could be explored with non-surgical non-drug treatments such as chiropractic and physiotherapy.

Low back pain

Low back discomfort is frequently linked to the degenerative spinal disease, occurring when the spine’s bones, joints and discs lose their natural structure and function with time. To overcome the shortcomings of invasive treatments, many health care providers have taken a new direction via chiropractic care. ACC is proud to be the pioneer of chiropractic care in Vietnam. ACC’s treatment for low back pain combines chiropractic adjustments with physical therapy and rehabilitation programs tailored to each patient’s condition.

Sciatica occurs when the sciatic nerve becomes pinched, usually by lumbar subluxations (misalignment of the bones in the lower spine) or by herniated and bulging discs. Pregnancy and childbirth can increase the potential of getting sciatic pain. More rarely, the nerve can be compressed by a tumor, prolonged sitting or damaged by a disease such as diabetes. Chiropractic care can be a great way to manage and relieve sciatica pain. Chiropractic care provides patients a safe, non-invasive alternative to take a step closer to their health goals.

Knee Pain

Many knee problems which develop in middle and older age have their origins in the feet. By treating the knee joint itself and by correcting the mechanics of the foot, relief to knee pain could be achieved for long term.

Ankle Pain

Ankle sprains are common injuries for people of all ages. A sprained ankle is an injury that occurs when the ankle rolls, twists or turned in an awkward way. With proper and constant treatment, most sprained ankles can heel fully without the need for casting or surgery. In chronic cases or when the ankle is badly damaged, foot orthotics may be recommended as a device to support and stabilize the foot and ankle. When properly made, the foot orthotics will allow athletic activity without interfering with performance and prevents re-injury at the same time.

Sport Injuries

Different sports injuries can produce different symptoms and complications that could affect any part of the body, including the muscles, spines, bones, joints and connective tissues (tendons and ligaments). Chiropractic care can be a very effective way to manage and treat many sport injuries conditions without using drugs or surgery. When the spinal joints & musculoskeletal are not moving correctly, it can cause tissue damage, further limiting the range of motion and contributing to various health issues. By using hands to adjust misaligned structures, ACC doctors perform a correction on the body’s structural alignment to improve its overall functions.

The greatest majority of primary headaches are associated with muscle tension in the neck. People today bend over computers, engage in more sedentary activities than they used to, and more hours are spent in one fixed position or posture. This can increase joint irritation and muscle tension in the neck, upper back and scalp, causing the head to ache.

Chiropractic care treat a wide range of problems and ACC doctors use a wide variety of chiropractic technique, as well as accompanying technologies and equipment to support and enhance treatments.

Pneumex PneuBack

Treatment of this program consists of seven steps that combine the optimal steps of physiological treatment, decompression, vibration frequency, skeletal treatment, and physical therapy.

The system can impact the spine and spinal discs in a variety of directions to completely change the compression of the disc and help it slowly recover to its original position. In addition, the machine has the effect of standard decompression for each patient body. There are vibrations that are programmed to allow the overhanging disk to move back to its proper position. In the process, it significantly increases blood flow to the affected part of the back or neck.

Decompression Traction System (DTS)

Spinal decompression works by gently stretching the spine which changes its force and position. This helps take pressure off the spinal disks, which are gel-like cushions between the bones in the spine, by creating negative pressure in the disc. As a result, bulging or herniated disks may retract, taking pressure off nerves and other structures in the spine which helps to promote movement of water, oxygen, and nutrient-rich fluids into the disks so they can heal.

Class IV Laser Therapy

Class IV Deep Tissue Laser Therapy offers healing and pain relief through a process known as photo-bio stimulation. The process leads to improved circulation, reduced inflammation, and an accelerated healing process. The cartilage and other tissues of the knee joint actually begin to regenerate.

Shockwave Therapy

Shockwave is an acoustic wave that carries high energy. The energy promotes regeneration and reparative processes of the bones, tendons, and other soft tissues. Shockwave therapy is most suited for people with chronic tendonitis such as Tennis Elbow, Achilles Tendonitis, rotator cuff, plantar fasciitis, etc. These could be as a result of sport, overuse, or repetitive strain.

Vertetrac Decompression Device

Cervico 2000, unlike other cervical spinal decompression medical devices, is comfortable, provides rapid relief and a fast return to active life-style. Cervico 2000 is a unique cervical traction device, which provides vertical and upward distraction along the cervical lordosis. Indications for use of the Cervico 2000: neck pain as a result of degeneration and disc herniation, whiplash injuries, torticollis, and sport injuries. Vertetrac & Cervico 2000 provide many advantages for treating low back pain and neck pain. They eliminate the need for medication.

At ACC, these devices are utilized in the rehabilitative programs. When combined with chiropractic care, ACC have helped and given new hope to many thousands of patients suffering from debilitating pain and chronic spinal problems.

Foot Orthotic

Orthotics are special shoe inserts that can be used to treat numerous foot conditions. There are many different types of orthotics, and they will vary in materials and features based on specific conditions.

A custom orthotic is a prescribed medical device from a doctor. “Custom” means that a doctor uses casts, impressions, or scans to perfectly fit the foot. A doctor-designed orthotic will control the alignment and function of the foot. These orthotics will treat and prevent abnormal motion or rolling of the foot.
