FV HOSPITAL PARTICIPATES IN U.S. CONSULATE HEALTH FAIR

FV Hospital participated in the Health Fair organised by the U.S. Consulate, to provide advice and comprehensive healthcare information for the community, especially U.S. citizens, their families, as well as visitors. The event took place on 17th January, 2024, at the American Centre (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City).

To kick off the event, Mr Graham B. Harlow – Management Officer – U.S. Consulate, expressed his gratitude to more than 35 professional partners from the healthcare who participated in this Health Fair. “It will be worthwhile for us to leave our desks for a few hours to gain valuable insights into healthcare,” Mr Harlow said happily.

From FV Hospital, many leading experts participated in the event, including Dr Daniel Bialeoko – Head of the FV Lifestyle; Nguyen Viet Quynh Thu, MD, MSc, Specialist Level II – Head of the Dietetics & Nutrition Department; Dr Wade Brackenbury – ACC Chiropractic Clinic; Dr Hoang Quang Minh – Cardiology Department; Nguyen Xuan Vinh, MD, MSc – Sports Medicine Unit; and Ms Nguyen Vo Minh Hien – Clinical Psychologist – Clinical Psychology.

At this Health Fair, in addition to providing medical information to visitors, FV also introduced various modern healthcare services that meet the emerging needs of many people, such as sports medicine, nutritional science, cardiovascular care, and non-surgical spinal nerve therapy – a medical technique brought by the ACC Clinic directly from the United States.

Beyond the advisory programmes at the event, FV also contributed to presentations on topics of interest to the American community. Minh Hien who trained and worked in the United States for over 10 years as a child psychologist shared valuable insights on “Developmental Disorders in Children.” Ms Minh Hien’s presentation closely relates to the realities faced by parents living in the United States and mirrored by the community working in Vietnam.

Representatives from FV, as acknowledged in a thank-you letter from the Consul General of the United States, Dr Hoang Quang Minh, stated: “The Health Fair is a very attractive format, through which we have the opportunity to share medical information and understanding of comprehensive healthcare, in a more approachable way for many people.” The collective efforts of doctors, experts, and staff at FV also brought joy as they participate in an interesting event that holds significant community value.
