FV organises free COVID-19 vaccination campaign at FV Hospital for Community before TET Holiday 2022

On the afternoon of 28th January 2022 (from 13:00 to 17:00) and the morning of 29th January (from 08:00 to 13:00), FV Hospital will organise a COVID-19 vaccination campaign at FV Hospital for all people 18 years old and older who would like to receive a 1st, 2nd and 3rd dose of vaccine. This vaccination campaign uses Moderna vaccine and is completely free; patients do not need to pre-register, only check-in at the information counter according to the delivery time.

According to current guidelines, patients who have recovered from COVID-19 can receive vaccinations. People who have received the first dose for more than 30 days can receive the second dose; people who get injections 2 out of 3 months can receive additional injections (3rd dose).

This vaccination campaign follows the community vaccination programmes that FV Hospital and FV Saigon Clinic participated in from July 2021 in Ho Chi Minh City. Up to now, FV teams have administered over 100,000 vaccinations to many different target groups living and working in Ho Chi Minh City. In addition, FV Saigon Clinic has participated in the vaccination campaign for children from 12 to 17, who are students at high schools in District 7, and we continue to support the delivery of booster vaccinations.

Currently, FV Hospital has been implementing the COVID-19 vaccination process, following international standard procedure that are applied in the French Republic. This process does not need to require extended personnel contact, and increases the vaccination speed, so it is ideal for large community vaccination campaigns. This technique helps to save personnel while ensuring the safety for patients receiving the vaccination. This process is currently being applied in all vaccination campaigns conducted at FV. Accordingly, FV is expected administer 800 vaccinations daily.
