Since its inception in 1970, Earth Day has evolved into a global movement dedicated to raising awareness about environmental protection and inspiring meaningful action for a healthier planet. It serves as a powerful reminder that we only have one Earth – and that every small action counts.
Together with members of Thomson Medical Group (TMG), FV Hospital is proud to support this initiative through practical, everyday actions. These include:
- Providing orientation training for all staff on proper waste sorting.
- Prioritising the use of electronic medical records.
- Turning off medical and electrical equipment when not in use, and maintaining them regularly.
- Purchasing environmentally friendly supplies whenever possible.
- Promoting green commuting options among staff.
These efforts reflect how FV and other TMG members are joining millions around the world in the movement towards a more sustainable environment.

You, too, can make a difference by starting with small, meaningful changes:
- Reduce plastic use: Bring a reusable water bottle, coffee mug, and shopping bag.
- Recycle properly: Separate your waste into the correct bins.
- Go paperless: Choose digital documents whenever possible.
- Unplug: Turn off devices when not in use.
- Green your commute: Walk, bike, carpool, or take public transport.
Let’s make a difference together – for a greener, more sustainable future. Every small step you take helps create a healthier planet for all.
Thank you for being part of the change.
