Dr Minh Thanh has more than 22 years of experience in Thoracic Surgery. He began his career in 2003 at the Cardio-Thoraco-Vascular Surgery Department of Viet Tiep Hospital in Hai Phong, moved to the Thoracic Surgery Department of Cho Ray Hospital in 2014, then joined FV Hospital at the end of 2025 to head both the Thoracic Surgery Department and the FV da Vinci Robotic Surgery Centre.
Dr Minh Thanh was one of the first surgeons in Vietnam to perform robotic chest surgery. He has a vast experience in all sorts of chest surgical procedures, having performed hundreds of interventions for lung cancer, mediastinal tumors, esophageal and tracheal diseases, and chest wall deformities. He also is a thyroid and breast surgery specialist.
Combining extensive experience, advanced surgical expertise, and world-class medical technology proficiency, Dr Minh Thanh is considered a leader in his field.
