Cardiovascular Screening Programmes at FV Hospital

Myocardial infarction – also known as a heart attack, when blood is decreased is blocked from flowing to the heart – causes more than 20 million deaths worldwide every year. Medical professionals agree that coronary heart disease is extremely dangerous as it can lead to blockages that can cause a sudden fatal attack at any time.

However, early cardiovascular disease screening will help to reduce the risk of myocardial infarction and other cardiovascular problems.

FV Hospital has invested in state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment and offers two healthcare packages: the Myocardial Infarction Screening Programme and Comprehensive Cardiovascular Disease Screening Programme (priced at VND 9,900,000) for anybody who exercises regularly or is at risk of cardiovascular problems.

At-risk groups include: men aged 40 years and over; people with coronary heart disease, diabetes, a vitamin B deficiency or high blood pressure; and anybody who smokes, is obese or suffers from stress.

FV’s highly specialised, experienced cardiologists will advise patients on how to prevent and treat heart disease. Patients will also benefit from an elevated treatment experience at one of the most advanced interventional cardiology rooms in Vietnam, equipped with the latest technologies for early cardiovascular screening and treating heart attack cases.

The chance of detecting and treating patients at risk of myocardial infarction is higher if patients undergo early cardiovascular screening.
