Local Government Recognises the Positive Contribution of FV Hospital on the Occasion of Vietnamese Doctor’s Day 27th February

On the morning of 26th February 2024, representatives from the Party Committee, People’s Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front of District 7, Ho Chi Minh City, visited and congratulated the medical staff working at FV Hospital on the 69th anniversary of Vietnamese Doctor’s Day. Previously, leaders from Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, also came to congratulate the doctors and staff working at FV Saigon Clinic.

During the visit, the Standing Deputy Secretary of District 7 Party Committee, Mr Tran Chi Dung, extended sincere thanks and wishes of good health to all the doctors and medical staff at FV, along with wishes for success in their upcoming endeavours. “With many contributions to healthcare services in the District, I hope that in the future, FV will continue to assist District 7 in developing and improving medical delivery quality”, shared Mr Tran Chi Dung.

In 2023, District 7 was encouraged by health leaders in Ho Chi Minh City to expand medical stations operating according to family healthcare principles. The Head of the District 7 Health Department, PhD. Dr Tran Huu Nghia, stated that the entire district has successfully implemented the proposal from the city. Doctors at FV have helped District 7 implement this model effectively by directly participating in medical examinations and treatments, as well as exchanging experiences and expertise with other units in the area.

During his first time attending this meeting, the Chairman of the District 7 Labour Confederation, Mr Vo Khac Binh, congratulated the FV medical team and expressed his expectation for the future. He hopes more collaboration between FV and the District Labour Confederation to bring greater benefits to hospital staff and develop quality medical staff resource in District 7.

On the same day, representatives from the Party Committee, People’s Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tan Phu Ward, the administrative unit where FV Hospital is located, visited, and gave flowers to congratulate the doctors and nurses at FV. It can be said that FV is one of the exemplary units that have accompanied the strong development of Tan Phu Ward over the past 20 years.

On behalf of all FV Hospital staff, especially the team of doctors, Medical Director Dr Do Trong Khanh received gratitude and messages from the local government. Dr Khanh also thanked the people and leaders of District 7 for their attention to the medical staff at FV. “In addition to the hospital development plans, FV will continue to support and implement several plans in the near future to enhance training for young doctors working in District 7,” said Dr Khanh.

Ben Nghe ward executives congratulate Vietnamese Doctors’ Day at FV Saigon General Clinic

Previously, in the morning of 21st February, the Chairman of the People’s Committee of Ben Nghe Ward (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City), Mr. Le Minh Phat, along with representatives of local socio-political organisations, visited and congratulated the doctors working at FV Saigon Clinic – FVC (Bitexco, District 1). The delegation highly appreciated FVC contribution in medical consultation and treatments for people and foreign tourists living and working in Ben Nghe Ward, as well as the central area of Ho Chi Minh City. Mr Phat wishes for more collaborative programmes between local authorities and FV Saigon Clinic in the near future.

FV hopes that meaningful recognition from governments at all levels and in localities will be a source of encouragement for doctors, medical staff, and hospitals to continue their efforts in the mission to provide care and improve the health of the people. To continue this mission, FV also commits to continue implementing projects to support the improvement of medical expertise in District 7, as well as for the overall development of the city.
