Luxury Dining Space at FV Hospital

FV Hospital’s canteen officially reopened to serve patients, relatives and all staff on April 7, 2022. Although the progress of repair and renovation has been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, the canteen’s new look is commensurate with the international-standard service quality offered at FV.

On April 7, members of the Directors Board of FV Hospital, representatives of service providers, construction units, and many patients, relatives, and hospital staff attended the opening ceremony of the new canteen on the first floor of F building, FV Hospital. The canteen’s new design is anchored by a warm, natural wood tone, which helps to create a luxurious, modern and inviting space. During the first few days, guests described how they felt they were dining at HCMC’s newest top restaurant!

Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Mai, Executive Director of FV Hospital, noted during the opening ceremony: “The hospital and contractors have worked very hard in the past year to complete this project to provide an improved canteen service at FV. I hope this new space will witness meaningful events for patients and their families, as well as the staff at FV.”

The new canteen can serve up to 180 diners at the same time. Smaller tables are arranged to accommodate small groups and families; long tables are convenient for larger groups and departments at the hospital.

The kitchen will serve a rotating three-meal menu which changes every day, in addition to a number of fixed menus representing European, Vietnamese and Asian favourites. Diners can easily choose their favourite dishes and pay at the counter. “Options will be more diverse than before to offers greater choice and a better dining experience to customers visiting the new food court at FV,” said a representative from Aden Catering, which manages food service at the hospital. Lunch menus have also been expanded to incorporate a range of dishes for a variety of dietary needs.

In addition to constantly improving the quality of medical expertise and upgrading facilities and healthcare services at FVH, the hospital also works to improve essential amenities to bring comfort for patients and their families. Mindful of this priority, the hospital has dedicated care and a sizeable budget to reimagining its canteen as a beautiful space which serves nutritious food of high quality.
