As a retinal specialist with nearly 20 years of experience, Dr Nikolle Tan will join the FV Ophthalmology and Refractive Surgery Department. Dr Nikolle Tan specialises in treating: cataracts, complex retinal disorders and cataracts, retinal detachments, macular diseases (pre-retinal membrane, macular hole), age-related macular degeneration), eye diseases caused by complications of diseases such as diabetes mellitus, hypertensive disorders, hereditary and congenital eye diseases.

Dr Donald Tan, who will work at FV from May 25 to May 29, 2022
Dr Tan is based in Singapore and is the former President of the World Corneal Society. He will directly examine and perform corneal transplant surgery and help restore vision for patients with corneal ulcers, corneal dystrophy, apical or scarred corneas and corneal damage. Transplanted corneal tissue used in these surgeries will be imported directly from the US corneal bank.

Mahen Nadarajah, MD, PhD, who will work at FV from May 16 to May 20, 2022.
Dr Nadarajah will examine and operate at FV’s Department of Neurosurgery to help screen for stroke and treat patients at risk of cerebrovascular diseases, such as vascular malformations and brain aneurysms. In addition, he will correct spinal conditions via endovascular intervention, which is minimally invasive and safe.
