My name is N.K.V, a patient under the care of Dr Thuc from the Psychiatry Department at FV Hospital. I would like to write this email in Vietnamese, as it allows me to fully express my gratitude, even though the reader or hospital staff may be foreigners.

During my treatment with Dr Thuc, although it has only been a little over two months, I can clearly feel the compatibility between myself and the doctor’s treatment approach. I share this because I am a bipolar disorder patient who was diagnosed many years ago, having gone through severe depressive episodes and even staying temporarily at Thay Minh Niem’s monastery to ensure my own safety. In the past, I had sought help in many places but rarely felt that a doctor or medical centre truly understood and accompanied patients like me.

Like many others, I am an educated person with a job, a family, friends, and my own career. However, when visiting some well-known psychiatric clinics or doctors in Ho Chi Minh City, I did not feel the respect and attentive listening that a physician should offer their patient – first and foremost as a fellow human being.

What I truly appreciate about Dr Thuc is his professionalism, dedication, and respect in every consultation. He always takes time to ask, explain the causes, the treatment plan, and how to use the medication, instead of giving generic, superficial advice or showing irritation when I ask questions about my prescriptions. This makes me feel safe, understood, and more confident to continue long-term treatment with him.

I believe that this feeling is also the shared wish of many psychiatric patients in Ho Chi Minh City – to meet doctors who are not only highly skilled but also compassionate, respectful of their patients’ emotions and dignity.

I sincerely hope that FV Hospital will have more dedicated and professional doctors like Dr Thuc, so that patients can have more opportunities for true healing.

When my wife gave birth to our two children, both babies were born healthy. The surgeries and follow-up aesthetic procedures performed by Dr Dung were excellent, and to this day I remain extremely satisfied. I have many fond memories with Dr Dung from that time, and I will always remember her care. Thanks to her dedication, my wife’s health has remained very good, and her beauty has been well preserved over the years.

As for myself, I had suffered from intestinal problems since childhood, which continued well into my twenties and even affected my work. I had sought treatment at several public and private hospitals, but the condition never truly improved – it just lingered on. However, when I came to FV Hospital and was treated by Dr Huy, everything changed. After only about six months of treatment, the problem was completely resolved. Since then, I’ve only needed to do routine endoscopies two or three times, and the condition has never returned.

Occasionally, if I overeat or drink too much and experience minor symptoms again, I just return to FV, and after a few weeks of medication prescribed by Dr Huy, everything clears up immediately. I am genuinely impressed by the quality of the medication and the thoroughness of the treatment. Dr Huy and the team at FV truly care for their patients – they focus on curing the problem completely rather than prolonging treatment or seeking financial gain, as I have unfortunately experienced elsewhere in Vietnam.

On behalf of my family, I would like to express our most sincere gratitude to the entire medical team for the care provided during my child’s hospitalization. The surgery in such a dangerous condition could not have been successful without the dedication and efforts of the doctors.

Dr Quyen (General Practice & Family Medicine) and Dr Dat (Obstetrics & Gynaecology Department) are two of the doctors I trust and respect the most because they examined me carefully and gave me dedicated recommendations.

I had uterine fibroids and Dr Dat advised me not to have surgery if it did not cause any discomfort, and to wait until menopause for the fibroids to shrink on their own – a truly dedicated doctor because I have been to many other places and they all recommended me to have surgery to remove the fibroids. Dr. Quyen is very dedicated and explains everything in detail and is enthusiastic with her patients.

N.T.K.H - Anaesthesiology & ICU

Our family sincerely thanks the doctors and staff for the attentive care and treatment given to my mother, Mrs. N. T.K.H. (bed 1), during her stay here. She was admitted to the emergency room at noon on July 8 in a critical condition with severe pneumonia and a small blood clot in her lung. Everyone working here dedicated themselves wholeheartedly and compassionately to treating and supporting her.

The medical ethics and patient care at FV Hospital have been clearly demonstrated by the professional doctors and the devoted nurses, who worked tirelessly with only one goal: to bring hope, confidence, and patience to us during such a worrying time for our mother’s health, and to support her through surprising steps of recovery.

“I was looking for a private hospital to do an exam for me in relation to the Thailand non-O visa medical form that I had to get filled out confirming that I didn’t have certain diseases. After being turned down at another Google Maps 4 + star rated private hospital in Saigon I did a query on Chat GPT and it identified the FV hospital. As soon as I got there I knew I made the right choice.

The staff were incredible from the admitting person to the section manager where I was directed to, the international doctor that I saw and examined me and all the other hospital staff who took me to the different areas for my testing.  I was given a proper medical exam by the doctor, he ordered and I underwent a blood test, urine test and a chest x-ray which all confirmed I was negative for the identified diseases.

The hospital also had the Thai medical form online and promptly put it on the hospital letterhead so they were fully aware of the requirements of the Thai medical certificate.

All hospital staff that I encountered spoke good English, were friendly and professional. I did not have any health coverage and the final bill was very reasonable just over 2 million vnd for all the testing and the examination, including several documents that confirmed the information that the Thai immigration needed for a visa application.

This is my third international private hospital that I have been to in Ho Chi Minh City in the last three years and without a doubt the top hospital I have gone to.”

We’ve had very positive experiences at FV Hospital, especially during our visits to the Emergency Department. Both of our children had to be treated there at different times for the same injury — cuts on their foreheads. Each time, the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. We were especially grateful for the nurses, who treated our young children with such warmth and care. Even though the kids were crying and scared, the nurses smiled brightly and gently reassured them, which helped them feel safe and receive their treatment calmly. It was a moment of real compassion, and we truly appreciated it.

We have not stayed in a hospital room ourselves, but we have visited the Emergency Department and found it to be clean and comfortable. When visiting friends who were admitted to FV Hospital, the general feedback seemed quite positive and most of them appeared satisfied with the rooms and services.
