I had a very positive experience with internal medicine and the clinical psychology department. My doctor very clearly explained the purpose of my medication and diagnosis, and she suggested the length of the treatment. As a US citizen, this was a pleasant difference from other doctors experiences I’ve heard about, where patients are on medication indefinitely with an unclear path to trying to get off of medication.

The family is very grateful to the medical team and doctors for their dedicated support and care for baby Dong Nghi and his family during the treatment period. The baby recovered quickly, reduced fever, and regained his daily routine. Parents are relieved. more worried and secure.

N.H.G.N Internal Medicine The year 2021 is the peak of the Covid 19 epidemic. My mother is very sick (not Covid). I was almost in despair, and very heartbroken. I was instructed by Doctor Tran Viet The Phuong to conduct training and remote treatment at Hy Vong Cancer Care Center after the surgery. I had never been examined and treated at FV, District 7 in Ho Chi Minh City. I am very aware of and committed to supporting Dr. Basma and the medical examination committees, who have directed the regulations during the administration period from November 2019 to the present. Professionalism, depression and dealing with a sick or rash person like me is very normal.

I was treated for cancer but during the diagnosis, Dr. Basma told me I had heart valve disease and advised me to pay attention to this. The doctor also has a solution, although the heart is not within the scope of treatment, but this is one of the doctor’s duties to inform the patient.

My name is Nguyen Thi Tham. I am 67 years old. I came to the hospital with a narrowed aortic valve. And the method I chose at FV (the hospital my family and I trust) was the TAVI (Transcatheter aortic valve implantation) method.

I want to express here the beautiful emotions of a patient for everyone.

I want to extend my sincerest gratitude to the surgical team; the doctors and the others whom I didn’t know in the operating room. Thank you all for helping my heart heal.

The ICU nurses were very gentle, caring, polite, and loving. I appreciate them very much during my time in the ICU. I want to thank the entire ICU team.

Before the surgery, I was very frightened and worried. I was afraid I wouldn’t wake up after the surgery. It was terrifying; and the doctor comforted me and helped me enter the surgery calmly, thanks to Dr Ly Quoc Thinh. The doctor’s firm grip through the footbath and massage, resolutely and strongly, helped me calm down, I fell asleep gently, and woke up gently, without any fuss. I really want to thank Dr Thinh. Patients really need that reassuring silent handhold before surgery, which the doctor provided. I hope the doctor continues this supportive approach for future patients.

Thank you, Dr Do Huu Phuc; the young doctor was very caring and enthusiastically explained every detail to help me understand what was happening during my surgery. I wish the doctor strength and more opportunities to learn and grow into an excellent doctor for the hospital in the future.

And finally, my primary doctor: Dr Ho Minh Tuan – a talented, compassionate, and virtuous doctor. I watched many TAVI surgery videos from around the world. This method is still new in Vietnam; but through the surgery, the doctor’s skilled hands worked smoothly. The insertion and removal of the valve was gentle and precise, like the doctor himself, fitting perfectly into place, leaving behind a small gift of human intelligence in my heart, through the most advanced surgical method. With all my heart, I want to honour my primary doctor, Dr Ho Minh Tuan. He has given me a strong new heartbeat, bidding farewell to piercing heartaches, weariness, and gloom.

I sincerely thank Dr Ho Minh Tuan and I hope for his continuous good health and many more opportunities to enhance knowledge and access the world’s advanced methods. In the future, he may help bring life to many more Vietnamese patients.
