I was extremely satisfied with my decision to choose FV and the doctors at FV for my prenatal check-ups and childbirth in 2010. Not only did Dr. Nguyễn Thị Vĩnh Thành (from the obstetrics department) examine me with great care, but she also provided emotional support, reassuring me during my first pregnancy and childbirth.

The baby was born smoothly, which not only brought happiness to my family but also left an incredibly positive impression on my mother. As a result, she decided to have cataract surgery at FV hospital for both eyes.

After each surgery, she always felt satisfied and reassured by the hospital’s quality and the doctor’s expertise. As for me, every year during my general health check-up (at a different clinic designated by my company), the doctor always praised the beauty of my C-section scar, reminding me of the wonderful experiences I had at FV hospital and the care provided by Dr. Vĩnh Thành.

As a linguist, I love seeing the Khmer language interpreters working. They always look professional. There are 2 in particular that I have seen on numerous occasions. I don’t know their names, but I would love to talk to them and ask about their jobs and experience and lives.

On March 21, 2025, I fell ill and was admitted to FV Hospital for treatment. The doctor agreed to let me continue treatment at home. Every day, nurses Tuot and Thien came to my house to administer IV fluids and change my dressings. I found them to be very attentive and dedicated.

I am grateful to have experienced the service of FV Hospital. It’s been my second time to be confined here. The first time I was hospitalized was Dec 2023 for suspicions (sic) surgery and now removal of my gall bladder due to gall stones. I am very happy and satisfied with the service of the staff specially the nurses in the operating room and even in the recovery room—very excellent. The instructions are really that the patient will understand. Also the doctor who did the surgery did well. Looking forward to see him on follow-up check-up.

I’m also impressed by all the other staff who can speak 2+ languages fluently. One time a Vietnamese doctor took a call in French and switched effortlessly back to English to talk to me. That was Dr Thai in general surgery. I like him.

Doctor Bui Nhuan Quy explained everything thoroughly and with great dedication; even when there were issues requiring him to stay until 7-8 p.m., he remained very devoted

The medical secretaries are very enthusiastic and helpful. I once had a check-up at a hospital in HCMC and forgot that my family member had health insurance there. The reception staff at that hospital never even asked, so in the end, we missed out on that insurance benefit for my family!

In contrast, at FV Hospital, thanks to their staff, I found out that I was eligible for partial health insurance coverage. They quickly helped me with the paperwork so I could receive that benefit. The way hospital staff handle the same situation can really differ from place to place.

The nurse at night shift was incredibly attentive and compassionate, even in a tough situation. While the patient at the adjacent bed was being loud and disruptive—making it hard for me to rest—she approached him with calm and kindness, despite being met with yelling and disrespect. Even when I, frustrated by the noise and lack of sleep, was short and unkind to her, she remained patient, gentle, and understanding. Her steady presence and care made a difficult experience a little easier to bear. Thank you so much, night shift nurse.

My first encounter with the hospital was the emergency room. My cardiologist is amazing. She addressed my concerns in an articulate manner that sold me on the hospital.

G.L.S - Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology Department

I was referred here by another hospital because they said I needed more extensive treatment for my heart. When I arrived I was nervous and afraid as I did not know what was happening. The doctors – Dr. Duc, Dr. Tuan and Dr. Phuc of Cardiology – greeted me kindly and explained that I needed TAVR procedure. I had the procedure and feel so much better. I had daily contact with the doctors and they carefully explained the entire procedure and aftercare to me and my wife.

Following surgery, my physiotherapist guided me in my recovery in an exceptional way. The nurses, the aides and the entire staff have been courteous, kind and always available. I am very grateful to the doctors for their expertise!

My experience with customer service (particularly Anh Thu Ho Nguyen) was very pleasant. They helped me out a lot, far beyond anything I expected.

When I arrived at the hospital (with my bicycle in the ambulance), I did not know where my bike ended up. Thu helped me to find the bike and organised that I could get access to my luggage (which was attached to the bike) and took pictures of the bike for me. The next few days she assisted me in finding a way to package and ship my bike back to Germany.

Thu has been an incredible help. Her English is impeccable. She is perfectly organized and resourceful and very friendly. She was also very patient to answer all my questions and called a lot of bike shops for me. It was very important for me to ship my bike back to Germany and I could not have done it without her help.
