Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Hoang Bac, MD, PhD
An outstanding leader and dedicated medical scientist, Associate Professor Nguyen Hoang Bac has made significant contributions to the medical community. He currently serves as Director of the University Medical Centre HCMC and Vice President of the Vietnam Association of Surgeons and Endoscopic Surgeons (VASEL).
Prof. Ichiro Uyama, MD, PhD
A world-renowned gastrointestinal specialist, Professor Ichiro Uyama focuses on robotic and minimally invasive surgery for the treatment of gastric, oesophageal, and pancreatic cancers. He has personally performed over 1,000 robotic procedures and is a leading authority in advanced robotic gastrointestinal surgery.
Assoc. Prof. Masaya Nakauchi, MD, PhD
Associate Professor Masaya Nakauchi earned his PhD in Medicine from Fujita Health University. He is a certified proctor and instructor for robotic gastrectomy using the da Vinci Xi surgical system.
Assoc. Prof. Vo Duy Long, MD, PhD
A recognised expert in laparoscopic surgery, particularly in the multimodal treatment of gastric cancer, Dr Vo Duy Long currently serves as Deputy Head of the Gastrointestinal Surgery Department at the University Medical Centre HCMC.
Dang Dinh Minh Thanh, MD, PhD, Specialist Level II
Currently serving as the Head of the FV da Vinci Robotic Surgery Centre and Head of the Thoracic Surgery Department at FV Hospital, Dr Dang Dinh Minh Thanh is a distinguished specialist with over 20 years of expertise. Nguyen Viet Hai, MD, Specialist Level II
Based at the Gastrointestinal Surgery Department, University Medical Centre Ho Chi Minh City, Dr Nguyen Viet Hai received specialised training in robotic gastrectomy and oesophageal surgery at Fujita University Hospital, Japan. He has extensive expertise in oncology, with a particular focus on advanced treatments such as immunotherapy for metastatic gastric cancer.
