At FV Hospital, nutrition plays an important role in patient recovery. Every meal is carefully planned to meet prescribed dietary requirements while taking into account each patient’s tastes and preferences.

Patients can enjoy a diverse selection of Asian and Western dishes prepared by our experienced chefs and served in their rooms or treatment areas. Alongside three daily meals, inpatients also receive snacks and beverages throughout the day to support their nutritional needs, comfort and recovery during their stay.

Personalised Meals Based on Medical Requirements

Every meal is carefully planned according to the patient’s treatment and nutritional needs. Our culinary and Food Services teams work alongside healthcare professionals to provide meals and beverages that meet specific dietary requirements, such as low-salt, low-fat or reduced-sugar diets. Our dietitians are also available to offer nutritional counselling and practical dietary advice to help patients support their recovery and maintain good health after discharge.

Special Dietary Requirements

For patients with specific preferences or needs, such as vegetarian, vegan, halal diets, pregnancy nutrition, or medical conditions including diabetes, hypertension, or food allergies, our culinary team will design customised menus tailored to each individual patient.

Children’s Menus

Menus for children feature age-appropriate portions and balanced nutrition to support healthy growth and development.

For children who are picky eaters or have medical conditions requiring customised meals, our chefs and culinary team will follow the doctor’s instructions to prepare suitable meals. Parents can be assured that their child’s nutritional needs are well cared for at FV Hospital.

A la Carte Ordering

With FV Hospital’s à la carte dining service, patients may choose meals according to their personal preferences, similar to a hotel experience. Our internal management system enables the culinary team to adjust seasoning levels and ingredients as needed, ensuring meals are safe, medically appropriate, and free from allergens.
