Customer Services

We believe that patient satisfaction depends not only on the quality of medical care, but also on every service provided throughout the hospital. From the moment you arrive, our Front Office team, trained to five-star hospitality standards, is on hand to assist you. They can help with getting in and out of vehicles, welcome and guide you, open doors, and assist with luggage when needed. The team also handles registration and can assist with enquiries about treatment services, hospital charges and insurance matters.

Patient Registration

To access medical services at FV Hospital, patients are required to complete a registration process and create a medical record at the Front Office or, in the case of an emergency, at the Emergency Department.

Our Front Office or Accident & Emergency reception teams will guide you through the process quickly and smoothly. This registration only needs to be completed once, when you first use services at FV Hospital.

Please provide one of the following forms of identification:

  • National ID card, passport, or birth certificate (for children), together with your health insurance card (if applicable)
  • A VNeID account integrated with your health insurance information

Interpretation Services

FV Hospital provides free interpretation support in Japanese, Korean, Khmer, Chinese, Russian, French, English and other languages, available 24/7 upon request.

When booking your appointment, our patient advisors will ask whether you require interpreter support so arrangements can be made alongside your medical appointment.

If you experience any communication difficulties while using our services or need assistance discussing your condition or treatment with doctors or hospital staff, please inform any member of our team, including nurses and doctors, for immediate support.

Sign language interpretation

Sign language interpretation is available for patients with hearing impairment. If you experience any communication difficulties during your visit, please inform a staff member, nurse, or doctor so assistance can be arranged promptly.

Patients are encouraged to inform us of any language assistance needs when booking their appointment, as advance notice helps with scheduling interpreters. Interpreter support can also be requested at any time during the visit, if needed.

Health care information can be complex. Our interpreters and translators are specially trained to work in medical settings and support clear, accurate and timely communication between patients and their care teams. They provide truthful and impartial language assistance to help patients make informed decisions about their care.

Yes. Like all hospital staff, our interpreters are committed to protecting the confidentiality of your personal and health care information.

You may use a family member as your interpreter, provided that person is at least 18 years old. Children under 18 are not permitted to interpret or translate in health care settings.

The best time to ask for language services is before you visit, if possible. Informing us of your language needs in advance helps us ensure appropriate support is available.

When booking an appointment, our staff will proactively ask whether interpretation services are required so that the doctor and the interpreter can be scheduled at the same time.

Language support services can also be requested after arrival and are available for all appointments and emergency visits.

Piano Performances

At FV Hospital, live piano performances are organised on special occasions to create a calming atmosphere and provide comfort for patients and their families.

The piano has also become a cherished part of the hospital environment, with many patients and visitors choosing to play familiar melodies themselves, adding moments of peace and joy to their time at FV.

Café de Paris & FV Bistro

Café de Paris

Located in the Indochine Lobby, Café de Paris offers a relaxed setting inspired by the lobby lounges of leading international hotels. Guests can enjoy a selection of salads, sandwiches, freshly prepared light meals, fruit juices, smoothies, coffee, tea and pastries made by the hospital’s culinary team.

Monday to Friday: 7:30 am – 5:00 pm
Saturday: 7:30 am – 12:30 pm

FV Bistro

For patients and visitors looking for a more extensive dining option, FV Bistro offers a varied menu developed under the guidance of five-star chef Sakal Phoeung. The restaurant serves a range of balanced and nutritious dishes designed to suit different tastes and dietary needs.

Opening hours:
Monday to Friday: 7:00 am – 6:00 pm
Weekends: 7:00 am – 2:00 pm

Gift Shop & FV Optical Shop

Happy Shop (Gift Shop)

Located on the ground floor, opposite Café de Paris. The shop offers a variety of products, from cosmetics recommended by FV doctors to medical devices such as blood pressure monitors, thermometers, water toothpicks, and electric toothbrushes. For the convenience of inpatients, the shop also sells toiletries, basic clothing, maternity and baby products, gifts (including chocolate), toys, books, and magazines. Items suitable for visitors are also available, including perfumes, cosmetics, spa packages, and other gift options.

  • Opening hours: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Mon-Fri) and 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Sat).
  • Special Note: Happy Shop dedicates a small area to items for the Children of Vietnam Charitable Fund. All proceeds from these items are used to cover treatment costs for disadvantaged children with congenital conditions.

FV Optical Shop

Conveniently located within the Ophthalmology and Refractive Surgery Department, the FV Optical Shop allows patients to have their prescription eyewear prepared following their consultation. The shop offers a wide selection of prescription glasses, sunglasses and lenses from established international brands. FV is committed to offering prices that are comparable to, or lower than, those available through authorised retailers.

For standard prescriptions, glasses can often be ready within 15 minutes. Progressive lenses can typically be prepared on the same day. All products are covered by the respective manufacturers’ warranty policies. Should you require any warranty-related assistance, our team will be pleased to help.

Special Assistance Care

FV Hospital is one of the few hospitals with a Front Office team dedicated to supporting patients with special needs. Wheelchairs and staff assistance are available for patients with mobility difficulties or elderly patients without accompanying relatives.

Parking Instructions

Secure parking is available for both motorbikes and cars within the hospital premises. Please follow the instructions of the security team on arrival. Designated drop-off areas are located directly in front of the lobby.
