Before Admission

Once your doctor has recommended hospitalisation and you have agreed to be admitted for treatment, our staff will escort you to meet the Admission Officer at the lobby of Building F.

Admission Officer will:

  • Review your medical records and provide all necessary information related to your hospital stay, including:
    Expected admission and discharge dates
Doctor in charge of your treatment
Items provided by the hospital and personal belongings you should bring
    Available inpatient room types
    Visiting regulations and hours
    Estimated treatment and room charges
Insurance coverage and related benefits (if applicable)
Deposit, admission cancellation and postponement policy
  • Explain and obtain consent for hospitalisation
  • Pay a deposit of VND 3,000,000 if you are being admitted for surgery
  • Issue an admission appointment card

One day prior to your scheduled admission date, the Admission Officer will contact you to remind you of your admission appointment.

On the Day of Planned Admission

On the day of your scheduled admission, please visit the Admission Desk located in the lobby of Building F.

  • Complete the hospital fee deposit payment.
  • You will then be guided to the ward, where our nursing team will escort you to your room.

During Your Hospital Stay

  • If you would like to change your room type, please inform your nurse for assistance (subject to room availability).
  • Certain medical conditions or specialised treatments may require an isolation room. Our staff will explain any additional charges involved.
  • Throughout your hospital stay, you may contact your nurse or the Patient Experience Department at any time should you require assistance.

Important Notes for Admission

Below is helpful information on what items the hospital provides and what items you should or should not bring with you.

  • Freshly laundered patient clothing provided by the hospital, changed daily or whenever required.
  • Bed linen, blankets, and towels for the duration of your stay
  • Slippers, soap, shampoo, shower gel, toothbrush, toothpaste, comb and body lotion.
  • National ID card or passport
  • Social Health insurance information and related documents
  • Personal clothing and electronic devices, if required
  • Cash or a credit card for the required hospital fee deposit payment
  • All medications currently being taken, including prescribed medicines, to show your nurse and treating doctor. Patients should not take their own medication during their hospital stay unless approved by their doctor, to avoid potential drug interactions.
  • Admission appointment card or admission confirmation details

FV Hospital is not responsible for items that are not deposited in the secure storage during your stay. We recommend leaving valuable items at home or asking a relative to keep them for you. If you wish to store valuables in the safe, please inform the nurse upon admission.
