At FV, it’s possible

I sincerely thank the doctors for their kind and careful examination and clear explanations. I also appreciate the nurses and care assistants for their patience and 24/7 care. I truly appreciate the excellent nursing care at the hospital. The nurses and care assistants have been very kind, patient and attentive throughout our stay. – After the surgery, the doctors, nurses, care assistants, and physiotherapy team have taken great care of my mother and closely monitored her recovery. We are truly grateful for their dedication, professionalism, and compassion care.

I have had a very positive experience with the hospital's inpatient services—specifically in the Pediatrics and Obstetrics departments. Nowadays, I take all three of my children to FV for their medical care.

I first underwent knee surgery performed by Dr. Phat; afterwards, he encouraged me to undergo regular physical therapy to speed up my recovery. At the clinic, I was treated by a therapist named Nhien. During the first session, Nhien guided me, but I felt very discouraged having to use crutches when I had previously been able to walk; Nhien encouraged me, saying, "Hang in there—you'll be walking normally again soon." I saw progress with every session. As the days went by, I was able to put aside the crutches and walk on my own two feet again. I have now been in therapy for 30 weeks; my leg has regained its strength, and I can walk normally, thanks to the care and training provided by Nhien. I hope that people like Nhien will continue to provide excellent care to future patients.

My name is Koum Raksmeymony (Mony). I underwent a total thyroidectomy with central and left cervical lymphadenectomy for thyroid cancer at FV Hospital on 26 June 2026, and I had my last consultation with Dr. Quy on 27 July. I also received radioactive iodine treatment 30 mCi) about two weeks ago and have recently started taking thyroid hormone medication. My condition has been stable since the surgery, both according to my clinical results and how I have been feeling personally, and I will continue to monitor my health as advised. I may not have expressed this well enough during our face-to-face consultations, but my recovery has been much better than I expected, and I am very grateful for the care and expertise you both provided throughout this process. Even my scar, although still quite visible at this stage, has been healing better than I had expected. I am very happy with how my recovery has progressed, and I wanted to share that with you as well. To Dr. Thai – thank you very much for your care and professionalism. I may be one of the many patients you have operated on, but for me, this was my first surgery. From my initial diagnosis in Cambodia through to the operation in Vietnam, everything happened very quickly that I sometimes found it difficult to process what was happening, especially as I had never experienced anything like this before. I was overwhelmed, and one of the ways I tried to manage that anxiety was by educating myself. I spent quite a lot of time reading medical research about my condition and treatment. It was certainly not easy to understand without a medical background, but learning as much as I could about what I was going through helped me feel a little more prepared and in control. However, much of that anxiety eased after my first consultation with you. You took the time to comprehensively explain my condition, treatment plan, and the potential risks of the procedure in a way that was specific to my case, which I greatly appreciated. It gave me a much clearer understanding of what I was facing and helped me feel more confident about proceeding with the surgery. Thank you as well for your care during and after the operation, for visiting me after surgery, and for taking the time to explain what had been done and how I should take care of myself during recovery. I am truly grateful for the skill, care, and professionalism you brought to my treatment. I hope you continue to find endless joy and strength in caring for your patients, and I wish you continued success and fulfilment in your work and in the medical field. To Dr. Quy – I found every consultation with you to be both comprehensive and reassuring, and I would like to thank you very much for that. Thank you also for regularly visiting me during my hospitalisation after the surgery. During my several visits to the hospital over the past two months, I had the chance to see doctors and nurses caring for many patients with very different conditions and at different stages of illness. The quality of care is excellent, which makes me feel very reassured. I once had a nasal condition and had to cancel an overseas trip to come to FV Hospital for emergency treatment. The doctors here were very dedicated in clearing my airway and prescribing the appropriate medication. My condition improved and progressed well.
