Multispecialty Approach in the Treatment of Bad Breath and Swallowing Disorders

Finished

13:00 – 5 July 2025

Auditorium, 3rd Floor, F Building, FV Hospital

Bad breath and swallowing difficulties are common problems that can significantly impact an individual’s quality of life. However, they are often overlooked or inadequately treated due to a fragmented, single-specialty approach. In reality, the causes behind these issues can come from different parts of the body, including the oral cavity, Ear-Nose-Throat (ENT), and digestive systems, as well as neurological conditions or internal medical conditions. This complexity calls for a multispecialty approach to ensure accurate diagnosis and comprehensive, integrated treatment, rather than simply focusing on addressing isolated symptoms.

To provide updates on the latest clinical knowledge and improve treatment effectiveness for these two conditions, FV Hospital warmly invites you to attend our upcoming CME Medical Workshop: “Multispecialty Approach in the Treatment of Bad Breath and Swallowing Disorders.” The workshop will be held from 13:00 to 17:15 on Saturday, 5 July 2025, at the Auditorium, 3rd floor, F Building, FV Hospital.
The session will feature presentations by leading experts from the fields of Odonto-Stomatology, Ear-Nose-Throat (ENT), Gastroenterology, Nutrition, and Rehabilitation.

  • Dr Nguyen Thanh Tung – Head of Maxillofacial Surgery & Dental Department, FV Hospital.
  • Dr Bui Nhuan Quy – Head of Gastroenterology & Hepatology Department, FV Hospital.
  • Dr Vo Cong Minh – Head of Otorhinolaryngology (ORL), FV Hospital.
  • Dr Nguyen Viet Quynh Thu – Head of Nutrition and Dietetics Department, FV Hospital; VicePresident of the Vietnam Dietetics Association VDA (2019 – 2024).
  • Dr Le Khanh Dien – Head of Rehabilitation Department, An Binh Hospital; Vice President of Asia Pacific Society of Speech, Language and Hearing (2022-2023).

By attending this workshop, doctors will have the opportunity to engage directly with specialists from multiple disciplines and gain access to practical, up-to-date, and effective treatment approaches for managing bad breath and swallowing disorders.

The programme is designed for doctors from relevant specialties such as Odonto-Stomatology, Ear-Nose-Throat (ENT), Gastroenterology, Internal Medicine, Neurology, and Surgery, as well as other healthcare professionals from FV Hospital and neighbouring hospitals.
