Dr Nguyen Thanh Tung graduated from the University of Medicine of Ho Chi Minh City in 2006 and was senior consultant at the National Hospital of Odonto-Stomatology for 17 years before joining FV as head of department in 2022. He followed specialised training in France Singapore and Japan where he obtained a PhD in Dental Science in 2013. Dr. Tung is actively involved in academic and professional training activities including technical transfer programmes in maxillofacial surgery for hospitals across Vietnam.
Dr Tung’s expertise encompasses all aspects of dental, oral & maxillofacial conditions. He has a special interest in implant dentistry, orthognathic surgery, temporo-mandibular joint conditions, maxillofacial trauma management and reconstructive surgery His clinical approach focuses on precision, safety, functional recovery, facial harmony, and long-term treatment outcomes.
