FV Hospital leads Emulation Group 13 in 2026

On 29 July 2026, FV Hospital hosted the conference to launch the 2026 activities of Emulation Group 13, attended by the Hospital’s Board of Directors and representatives from member hospitals. As Head of Emulation Group 13 for the 2026 term, FV Hospital reaffirms its commitment to strengthening collaboration among non-public hospitals across Ho Chi Minh City. The conference approved operating regulations, outlined strategic directions, and signed an emulation agreement aimed at improving treatment quality, ensuring patient safety, and promoting compassionate, patient-centred care.

Advancing healthcare quality through collaboration and knowledge sharing

The conference brought together member hospitals of Emulation Group 13, representing non-public hospitals across Ho Chi Minh City, including: FV Hospital (Head of the Group), City International Hospital (CIH) and Gia An 115, Minh Anh International Hospital, Hong Bang International University Hospital, Phuong Nam High-Tech Eye Hospital, Gaya Viet Han Hospital, and My Thien Maxillofacial Hospital.

The Group’s strategic priorities for 2026 focus on three key pillars: elevating medical ethics and expertise, strengthening collaborative spirit, and successfully fulfilling the healthcare responsibilities assigned by the City.

Speaking at the conference, Ms Pham Thi Thanh Mai, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of FV Hospital and Head of Emulation Group 13 for 2026, shared: “FV Hospital is honoured to take on the role of Head of Emulation Group 13 in 2026. We see this as both an honour and a responsibility to connect, coordinate and strengthen collaboration among the 20 member hospitals. FV hopes to join hands with other units to share experiences, promote best practices, and work together to enhance the quality of healthcare for the benefit of our patients.”

Three key activities planned for the 2026 Emulation programme

FV Hospital and member units of Emulation Group 13 agreed to roll out a series of key networking and community service events during the second half of 2026:

  • Patient Safety Week (14 September 2026 – 18 September 2026): In support of World Patient Safety Day (17 September) led by the World Health Organization (WHO), under the theme “Safe care for non-communicable diseases” and the message “Safe care for life”. FV Hospital invites hospitals within the group to nominate experts to present and share practical experiences at the event.
  • FV Run Charity Race (31 October 2026 – 1 November 2026): The first community sports event organised by FV Hospital at P2 Park, Phu My Hung Urban Area (Tan My, Ho Chi Minh City), with the theme “Run with Heart – Run for Hope”. Participants can choose from race distances of 3 km (Family Relay), 5 km, 10 km, and 21 km. All proceeds from registration fees will be donated to the Children of Vietnam Charitable Fund to support free surgeries for underprivileged children with congenital conditions or injuries.
  • Emulation Group 13 Friendly Pickleball Tournament (Expected November 2026): A friendly sporting event designed to strengthen connections among member hospitals, foster collegiality, and reinforce team spirit.
