Social Insurance Process
Clear, step-by-step guidance to ensure convenient and confident use of Social Health Insurance at FV Hospital.
Registration at the Reception Counter
To ensure a smooth check-in process, you must present one of the following official forms of identification or insurance status:

National ID Card (CCCD).

VNeID Level 2 digital identification account with integrated SI card information.

SI Card or SI Code (If the SI card does not have a photo, a valid photo ID is also required).

For children under 6: Please present their SI card/code, or a Birth Certificate/Birth Record (original or copy). The parent or guardian will be required to sign for verification on the medical record.

For Police/Military Personnel: Please provide your sector-specific SI card.
Verification and Determination of SI Benefits After Consultation
After your consultation and treatment plan, the SHI payment counter staff will inform you of:

Your eligible benefits.

The costs are covered by the Social Insurance fund.

The remaining difference, which you will be required to pay.
Note
Social insurance can be used simultaneously with private health insurance (local/international) and The FV Health Insurance. If you hold all three types of insurance, please inform FV staff to ensure you receive the maximum benefits.
Payment Process at FV Hospital:

State SI is prioritized: SI is always applied first for eligible costs according to its regulations.

Private/international insurance Second: Your private insurance is then applied to the remaining costs,within the scope of your policy benefits and authorization.

The FV Health Insurance Card Last: Any FV membership discounts or promotions apply last, to the final amount you must self-pay.
