Mr Doan Minh Trong is a nationally recognised leader in head and neck surgical oncology. After 23 years at the Cancer Centre of Ho Chi Minh City, where he performed thousands of surgical procedures, he decided to join the private sector, first to Tam Anh Hospital and then to FV Hospital where he aims to develop the newest techniques including trans-oral robotic surgery.
His practice is distinguished by its breadth: encompassing complex head and neck cancer surgery, neck dissection, thyroid and parathyroid operations, reconstructive surgery, and more. Already a specialist level 2, he added to his skills by attending fellowship training for high-end techniques including Thyroid Radiofrequency Ablation and, in Korea, Transoral Robotic Thyroidectomy.
Dr Trong always aims to provide a high-quality, modern practice, patient-centred surgical care with minimal side effects, scarring and functional loss – thus aiming to optimise patients’ quality of life and wellbeing.
