COMPREHENSIVE NUTRITIONAL AND ORAL HEALTH CARE

Vu Truong Son, MD, MSc graduated from Hai Phong University of Medicine and Pharmacy in 2007 and taught there for two years. He earned his Master's degree in Tropical Diseases and International Health at the Institute of Francophone Tropical Medicine (IFMT) in 2009.

Dr Vu Truong Son began working at FV Hospital in 2013 and officially became the Head of the Infectious Disease Department in 2022. In May 2023, he additionally took on the role of Deputy Medical Director. Starting from early August 2024, he has been entrusted by the FV Hospital Board of Directors with the position of Acting Medical Director.

At FV, Dr Vu Truong Son has always received high trust from the Board of Directors and colleagues for his contributions to important policies such as the Response to Global Infectious Diseases and Infection Control, which have been successfully developed and implemented in the hospital. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr Son made significant contributions to the Infection Control Unit and Infectious Disease Department at FV.

Specialist Level II, Nguyen Viet Quynh Thu, MD, MSc, graduated as a General Practitioner from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh City in 1999. She received a Specialisation Degree Level I in Internal Medicine in 2007 and a Specialisation Degree Level II in Internal Medicine in 2011 from Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, a Master's degree in Nutrition from Women's University of Japan in 2008, and a Diploma in Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism of ESPEN in 2019.

Dr Quynh Thu has more than 15 years of experience in Clinical Nutrition in medical treatment, and was Head of the Nutrition Department of Nguyen Tri Phuong Hospital for over 10 years. She has officially worked at FV Hospital since February 2016, and has been Head of Nutrition and Dietetics Department since May 2021. She also holds the position of Vice President of the Vietnam Dietetics Association (VDA).

Dr Nguyen Thanh Tung graduated with a degree in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy in 2006. He completed a 3-year residency in Maxillofacial Surgery at Central Dental Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City (2007–2010). In 2013, he earned his PhD in Dental Science from Hiroshima University, Japan.

With 14 years' experience at Central Dental Hospital, Dr Tung was also Head of International Cooperation from 2014 to 2015. He is highly skilled in addressing maxillofacial disorders, dental trauma, maxillofacial surgery, and dental implants. He has nearly 8 years of experience as a lecturer in Maxillofacial Surgery at HCMC University of Medicine and Pharmacy. Since January 2022, Dr Nguyen Thanh Tung has served as the Head of the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery – Dental Surgery Department, FV Hospital.

Dr Nguyen Thi Minh Khue graduated in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy in 2017. She has participated in various training programmes including a student exchange at Tokyo Medical and Dental University, Japan in 2015, an Implant Certification in 2019, Aesthetic Dental Restoration, and the International Dental Exhibition and Meeting (IDEM) in Singapore in 2022.

Dr Minh Khue specialises in aesthetic dental restoration, digital dentistry, implantology, and periodontology. After working at dental clinics hiDental (2019–2021) and MyLee (2022 onwards), she joined the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery – Dental Surgery Department at FV Hospital in June 2023.

Dr Huynh Le Hai Trinh graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy in 2009. He furthered his expertise through courses in dental implantology in 2012 and orthodontics from 2013 to 2014.

With over a decade of experience, Dr Trinh has accumulated extensive knowledge through various roles including Senior Dentist at Hoa My Dental Center (2009–2011), Thai To Dental Center (from 2011), and A-Au Beauty Hospital (from 2013). Since 2014, Dr Huynh Le Hai Trinh has been part of the senior dental team at the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery – Dental Surgery Department at FV Hospital. He specialises in general dentistry, aesthetic dentistry, and endodontics.

Dr Nguyen Thi Giang graduated from Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy in 2005 and obtained her Specialty I in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy in 2014. She has participated in several specialised training courses including orthodontics (2008–2009), dental and facial orthopedics (2017), maxillofacial surgery (2018) at Central Dental Hospital, and advanced orthodontics in Singapore (2019).

With over 17 years of experience in orthodontics and maxillofacial surgery, Dr Giang worked for 14 years as an orthodontist at An Sinh Hospital (2006–2020). In June 2022, she joined the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery – Dental Surgery Department at FV Hospital.

Dr Nguyen Thi Bich Chieu graduated from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Ho Chi Minh City in 2002. She has obtained a specialty in Orthodontics (2007), advanced training in Dental Implants (2009), and completed residency programmes in Oral Surgery at the University of Bordeaux, France (1998 and 2000).

Dr Chieu's career includes roles at District 8 Health Center (2002–2003) and Tam Duc Heart Hospital (2003–2004). Since 2004, Dr Nguyen Thi Bich Chieu has been a Senior Dentist at the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery – Dental Surgery Department at FV Hospital, specialising in aesthetic dentistry and oral maxillofacial surgery.

Dr Cao Thi Thu Trang is a leading expert in Dentistry & Oral Surgery, graduating from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Ho Chi Minh City in 2000 and earning her Master's in Dentistry in 2013. With over two decades of experience, she has continually advanced her knowledge, particularly in orthodontics and dental implantology.

Since joining the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery – Dental Surgery Department at FV Hospital in 2016, Dr Trang specialises in modern orthodontic techniques and dental implants, providing long-term solutions for patients with missing teeth.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong graduated with a degree in General Nursing from Lam Dong Medical College in 2007. She later obtained a nursing certification from Hong Bang International University in 2013 and additional short-term certifications in wound care, vaccination safety, and health education communication. In 2022, she completed a 3-month training course in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgical Nursing at the Central Dental Hospital, Ho Chi Minh City.

She joined FV Hospital in September 2011, working in various outpatient areas before being promoted to Nurse Shift Leader. In July 2022, she moved to the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery – Dental Surgery Department as Nurse Team Leader, assisting doctors in examining, treating, and caring for patients from initial examination through post-surgical care.
