Typhoid Fever Vaccine
Typhoid fever is a bacterial infection spread through contaminated food and water. Typhoid can cause prolonged fever, weakness, and serious complications if untreated.
Recommended For
- Adults traveling to or living in areas with poor sanitation.
Schedule
- 1 dose and booster doses after every 2 or 3 years.
Common side-effects
You may experience mild side-effects following vaccination. Most side-effects last no more than a couple of days and are part of the immune system’s natural response to the vaccine.
Common reactions include:
- Pain, swelling and redness at the injection site
- Headache
- Fatigue
- Mild fever
- Muscle, body aches.
