On 25 September 2026, the 16th “Give Blood – Give Hope” blood donation programme, co-organised by FV Hospital and the Blood Transfusion Haematology Hospital, concluded successfully, receiving enthusiastic participation from FV staff, clients and community members. With 134 units of blood collected, the programme helped replenish blood supplies and support emergency care and treatment for patients.

Many volunteers arrived early to complete the registration process
From early morning, the blood donation area at FV Hospital was bustling with activity. Every participant came with a different reason, yet they shared a simple desire: to give blood and help those in need.
FV and the community: United in a meaningful act of giving
Voluntary blood donation is a long-standing community initiative at FV Hospital. Beyond doctors, nurses and medical staff, the programme consistently receives strong support from FV employees, clients and community members.

Many residents from the neighbouring area participated in meaningful activities
For donors, giving blood takes only a short amount of time. Yet for patients, donated blood can provide vital support during emergency care, surgery and the treatment of serious conditions.
During the 16th “Give Blood – Give Hope” programme, 134 units of blood were safely collected and transferred to the Ho Chi Minh City Blood Transfusion Haematology Hospital.
Every blood donation is an act of giving
Behind every unit of blood is a voluntary act of giving. It might be an FV staff member making time before a shift, a client staying after an appointment to donate, or a young person overcoming a fear of needles to make their first donation.
These seemingly small choices, when combined, make a meaningful contribution to the community and public healthcare system. The 16th “Give Blood – Give Hope” programme also provided an opportunity for FV to encourage more people to consider donating blood when they meet the health and eligibility requirements.

The happy smiles of volunteers taking part in this meaningful initiative
FV Hospital extends its sincere thanks to the Blood Transfusion Haematology Hospital and its team of doctors and medical staff for their professional support and organisation, as well as to all FV staff, clients and community members who took the time to participate in this meaningful programme.
Every donated unit of blood is a meaningful act of giving that can help support patients in need. Every participant contributes to the shared effort to bring hope to patients.
We look forward to welcoming you to the next “Give Blood – Give Hope” programme at FV Hospital.
