On 16 May 2026, the annual Rugby Tournament, organised by the Saigon Rugby Club, took place at Etihad Park (formerly District 12). The event brought together a large number of players, coaches, and sports enthusiasts in Ho Chi Minh City. FV Hospital once again joined the tournament as the official medical sponsor, providing on-site emergency care and medical support throughout the event. The Rugby Tournament 2026 brought together more than 50 players from the foreign community living in Ho Chi Minh City This year’s Rugby Tournament featured more than 50 players. Although this particular event mainly brought together members of the expatriate community living in Vietnam, the tournament still delivered an energetic atmosphere and highlighted the strong sense of community within Ho Chi Minh City’s rugby scene. Fast-paced plays and fierce competition lit up the pitch. The matches were played back-to-back in an exciting atmosphere, showcasing high-speed action, great teamwork, and receiving enthusiastic support from the spectators. The players not only gave their all on the pitch but also shared their passion for rugby, creating a friendly and spirited atmosphere throughout the programme. With the FV medical team always on-site, the rugby players can confidently compete at their best Throughout the tournament, FV Hospital’s medical team was stationed on-site to provide timely assistance for any incidents. “Having medical staff on-site helped players stay focused on the game, knowing they were safe throughout the tournament,” noted a representative from the Saigon Rugby Club. More than just a sporting event, this year’s tournament aimed to foster solidarity, connect the community, and raise health awareness among players. The Saigon Rugby Club hopes the tournament will continue to grow, always prioritising sportsmanship and player safety. Over the years, FV Hospital has provided medical support for various tournaments, ranging from community and children’s charity events to international competitions such as Ironman 70.3 Da Nang 2026, the Asia Pacific Rugby Cup, and the Indochine Cup. This is part of FV’s commitment to building a safe sporting environment and taking care of athletes’ health.
