Strategic Vision from Leadership
Speaking at the event, Ms Nguyen Thi Le Thu, Marketing and Business Development Director at FV Hospital, shared:
“We highly value this partnership with Viettel Cambodia – a leading telecommunications provider with a strong track record. Through this collaboration, FV aims to extend our high-quality healthcare services, where patient safety is always the top priority, to more people living in Cambodia.
In reality, the need for medical care exists, but not everyone knows where to find the right services. By working alongside Viettel Cambodia, we can help more patients access the information they need and enable them to receive treatment in the most appropriate clinical setting.
We have our specialist resources ready, from remote consultations to advanced care in key areas such as robotic surgery, cardiology, and oncology – ensuring the best possible outcomes for every patient.”
Representing Viettel Cambodia, Mr Nguyen Hoang Trung, Deputy General Director, shared: “Viettel Cambodia supports an ecosystem of around 10 million customers, backed by a technology and telecoms infrastructure that reaches every part of the country. We are expanding into new areas to deliver greater value to the community, with healthcare being a key priority.
Through our partnership with FV, Metfone aims to build a comprehensive end-to-end service for patients. This will cover everything from remote consultations and booking appointments to travel support and treatment, making high-quality medical care more accessible and reliable for those living in Cambodia. We specifically chose FV because of their clinical expertise and long-standing experience in caring for international patients. This expertise is vital in helping patients overcome common hurdles, such as language, trust, and navigating the process of seeking treatment abroad.”

Making cross-border healthcare a reality
Under this agreement, both sides will work together to support patients across borders. This includes providing clear information, remote consultations, treatment coordination, and continuous support throughout the medical journey.
Through Viettel Cambodia’s digital ecosystem, people in Cambodia can now access trusted medical information. This helps them find the right treatment from the very beginning and removes many of the hurdles typically faced when seeking care abroad.
With over 20 years of experience and international standards of care, FV Hospital is already a trusted destination for the Cambodian community, welcoming thousands of patients every month.
This partnership is not only a milestone for both organisations; it marks a sustainable step forward in connecting high-quality healthcare between Vietnam and Cambodia for years to come.
