Bringing FV’s 2025 recognition journey to a close, the December Shining Star has been presented to Ms Tran Thi Huyen, a dedicated nurse from the Day Ward. Her recognition is particularly significant, as Ms Huyen is one of the few representatives from the Day Ward team in recent years to receive this prestigious title.
Having joined the FV family seven years ago, Ms Huyen has dedicated her entire professional journey to the Day Ward. This environment combines the fast pace of outpatient care with the complexity of patient management typically associated with inpatient services, requiring constant flexibility and adaptability. It is precisely this dynamic nature of the role that aligns closely with Ms Huyen’s professional aspirations.
Reflecting on the pressures of caring for patients who may be anxious about their medical condition or treatment costs, Ms Huyen shared: “There are times when I have to take on many roles, not only as a caregiver but also as someone who must quickly reassure and comfort patients. As long as they feel at ease, I feel happy.”
Despite the demanding nature of the work and the occasional difference of opinion, Ms Huyen holds a deep affection for her “Day Ward home”. She remains firmly focused on professional standards and committed to open, constructive communication to safeguard patient safety and support continuous improvement. For her, a job well done is measured not by paperwork, but by a patient’s sense of reassurance. “When I work, I work thoroughly and make sure patients never feel abandoned. Only when they have gone home do I truly feel at ease,” she shared with a smile.
In a professional healthcare environment, Ms Huyen consistently builds trust through sincerity. She believes that patient confidence is earned through practical actions and genuine empathy. Her commitment to patient care and willingness to step forward in clinically challenging situations reflect how she finds daily fulfilment in her work.
When asked about the secret to becoming the final Shining Star of 2025, Ms Huyen responded modestly: “I don’t have any special secret, other than working honestly and living sincerely. I simply try to fulfil my responsibilities in the best possible way, with genuine care for patients.” It is this straightforward attitude and strong sense of responsibility, learned from her managers, that have made Ms Huyen a valued team member who earns the trust of her colleagues.
The FV family extends its sincere congratulations to Ms Tran Thi Huyen on being named FV’s Shining Star for December 2025. Her quiet resilience and consistent dedication provide a fitting close to a remarkable year. We wish her continued passion for her profession and ongoing success in bringing care and reassurance to every patient at the Day Ward.
