Starting from January 2025: Patients can now pay hospital fees in instalments at FV Hospital

December 12, 2024

Since January 2025, you can pay your hospital fees in monthly installments so you can focus on recovery, not finances.

How it works
The plan is available for payments made with credit cards issued by participating banks that have a cooperation agreement with FV Hospital in Vietnam.

For any service paid by credit card with a minimum transaction of VND10 million, cardholders can convert the payment into an installment plan lasting 3 to 12 months.

FV’s new instalment programme ensures that patients can focus on their treatment without concerns about costs.

This is the first time FV has launched an instalment payment programme for medical fees and services, designed to support FV’s patients and the wider community. The initiative makes it easier to access high-quality international healthcare services, alleviating financial concerns.

“This programme is available across 28 banks in Vietnam. When a patient requests to pay in instalments, FV will assist with the conversion process directly at the payment counter, so patients do not need to coordinate with the bank themselves,” shared Ms Tran Le Quyen, Chief Financial Officer at FV Hospital. “We hope this programme will provide meaningful support by allowing patients and their families to divide their payments into smaller portions.” Ms Tran Le Quyen highlighted that the instalment programme also enables people who previously wished to experience healthcare at FV but hesitated due to costs to now do so with confidence.

Many patients currently receiving treatment at FV were pleased to hear this new option. I am undergoing long-term treatment at FV, and the hospital bills must be quite substantial. I feel hesitant about my children having to manage and arrange for the upcoming payments on my behalf. But with this new instalment programme, it truly eases our worries. Now, we can pay in parts, which also lightens the burden on my children,” said Ms N.T.C, 63, currently being treated in FV Hospital.

The instalment programme makes it easier for everyone to access comprehensive medical services at FV.

When the instalment programme takes effect, the public will find it easier to access and use services and programmes such as the FV Membership programme, FV Insurance, and comprehensive health check-up programmes, supporting their health and that of their families. “FV is a international-standard hospital in the region, but for many years, we have applied a service fee that is only 50% of what hospitals with similar standards in top Southeast Asian countries like Singapore, Thailand, and Malaysia charge. We also subsidise 20% on listed service fees for patients without health insurance (Applicable to both patients with or without social insurance).

Now, with the implementation of this practical instalment programme, we are demonstrating our commitment to making international-standard healthcare services accessible to more people in Vietnam,” shared Dr Jean-Marcel Guillon, CEO of FV Hospital. The CEO of FV also stated that in 2025, the hospital will gradually expand its collaboration with Social Insurance to support payments for patients with state health insurance, enabling them to access all services across various departments within the hospital.

With a team of experienced doctors, FV Hospital is a trusted destination for your healthcare needs

According to Dr Jean-Marcel Guillon, with over 30 specialties, a regional-level treatment centre, and a team of hundreds of highly skilled doctors – including continuous recruitment of top doctors from Singapore – FV Hospital has become a leading choice for healthcare in Vietnam. By continuously optimising costs, FV enables patients to access high-quality treatment locally, eliminating the need to travel abroad for expensive care.
