Comprehensive Breast Assessment
We provide a comprehensive breast assessment combining clinical evaluation, imaging, and individual risk factors. This integrated approach helps accurately understand each condition, reduce missed findings, and guide appropriate, personalised management.
This is often the first step in your journey, and also the most important one.
A comprehensive breast assessment is not just a scan. It is a personalised evaluation that looks at your breast health as a whole: your current symptoms, your medical history, and your individual level of risk. All women should have their first breast assessment by the age of 25.
During your visit, we take the time to listen carefully – whether you are experiencing pain, noticing a lump, or simply seeking reassurance. A clinical breast examination is combined with targeted imaging, most commonly ultrasound, and when appropriate, 3D mammography or Fast Breast MRI.
Our goal is not only to detect abnormalities, but also to help you understand your own breast health – what is normal, what is not, and what should be monitored over time.
You will leave with clarity, not confusion.
Risk Assessment & Personal History

Understanding your risk is an essential part of breast care.
While breast cancer cannot usually be prevented, there are certain risk factors to be aware of that may increase your chances of one day developing breast cancer. There are even tools available to help you and your doctor better understand your personal risk. One of those tools is the Tyrer-Cuzick Model, which allows your breast specialist to define when to start breast cancer screening based on your lifetime risk of developing the disease.
Using this tool we evaluate factors such as family history, reproductive history, hormonal exposure, and prior breast conditions. This helps us determine whether you are at average risk or require a more tailored screening approach.
