On 20 April, FV Hospital held a ceremony to celebrate Medical Laboratory Professionals Week 2026. The event honoured the “silent heroes” behind diagnostic results—those who play a pivotal role in patient care and treatment journeys.

Medical Laboratory Professionals Week 2026 was held at FV Hospital
This year’s theme at FV, “Lab Story: To infinity and beyond for our patients”, brought together the Hospital’s leadership, doctors, laboratory and blood bank teams, along with strategic partner MITALAB.
Opening the ceremony, Dr Vu Truong Son, MSc – Medical Director of FV Hospital, expressed his sincere appreciation to the laboratory professionals. He shared:“In medicine, while clinicians make treatment decisions, laboratory teams provide the most reliable guidance for those decisions.” Beyond ensuring high accuracy, the team continuously works to reduce turnaround times, enabling faster diagnosis and timely treatment, especially during critical “golden hour” situations.

As part of the programme, FV officially introduced the advanced DxI 9000 Access Immunoassay Analyser. FV is proud to be the first in Vietnam to install this cutting-edge system, marking a significant technological breakthrough in optimising laboratory operations. The system delivers up to 440 tests per hour, placing it among the fastest currently available. Key cardiac test results are produced in under 12 minutes, whilst nearly 50% of all tests are completed within 30 minutes.
The ceremony concluded on a warm and celebratory note, with the Board of Directors presenting meaningful gifts, cakes, and flowers to the Laboratory team. These gestures recognised not only their dedication but also the precision and focus required in every moment spent at the microscope and analyser to ensure fast and accurate results.

The event served as an opportunity for the community to better understand the important role of laboratory professionals in supporting patient treatment
FV Hospital extends its heartfelt congratulations to all laboratory professionals and pathologists. We wish you continued passion and perseverance as you push boundaries and remain a trusted pillar for both doctors and patients in the fight against disease.
